  1. I tried the initial update and it said it completed - however upon reboot i am still showing version 2.0000 (I have a 110bt that was previously updated to the 120bt software). Im i missing something?
  2. i saw i was able to do the same thing. I wonder if ATT will cancel one of the orders?
  3. I agree we should have to pay for map updates... but i would like the GUI update at a reasonable price. By bundling them together they are probably going to get people to buy it when they normally would not with just a map update. Case in point - Im happy with the maps i have and feel no need to update them at $200... if the GUI was a separate update however i'd pay $50-$75 or praise Pioneer for a free update.
  4. Well shit.. .there goes that idea. Are you sure its a flash Chip and not some type of SSD drive we can connect to a PC?
  5. I think i have an idea to get this to work. Let me know if this sounds reasonable. We need someone who has purchased a 120BT or upgraded to the 120bt to imagine their drive. We could then pull our HDD from the 110 and connect to a PC to do a restore based on the new software thereby eliminating the need for the validation check. If MIGHT be possible to do this as well from just the files from the SD update...but would have to take a closer look at the files. Thoughts? If someone can post their upgrade files - i'd like to look into this further.
  6. I'd also pay $50 for working files and keygen if someone can fig it out.
  7. Awesome - Thanks! I'll gladly chip in to paypal assuming we can figure out the pw thing.
  8. Since there have been updates like this in the past via SD - does anyone know if / how they were cracked in the past? Might be able to take the same or similar approach. Given the other cracks ive seen in the past around the HDD's im sure there is someone here smart enough to figure this out. We need to get a image hosted to allow others to inspect it. Hopefully someone will be able to host one soon. I'd love to get the new maps and interface.
  9. $200 still seems like a lot. How does the password work on this? Do you get a unique password for each SD card? Does it authenticate to the unit some how?
  10. Looks like the software needs to be activated after purchased. I there was a way around this before on i remember when i went from z1 to z3. Not sure if the same possibility exists here as well.
  11. yup - just got the email as well. Is there going to be a way to get an unofficial copy for evaluation purposes?
  12. For several months this unit was working fine...now i noticed it will reboot itself every 4-5 mins. Not sure whats going on...otherwise everything is completely functional. Anyone else experience this? Is there is anything i can try to fix this other than sending in to Pioneer and being without a radio for a couple weeks? Thanks
  13. Does anyone have any more info. Has anyone successfully completed this? Know what LED (size) need to be replaced? Thanks
  14. Is this possible? I really want the color to match the OEM lights in my BMW (redish / orange) Any advice or tips appreciated.
