  1. do the copies work? a mate used a copy of his DVD set and the D3 crashed several times, rebooted, did unwanted shit and was hella slow. the local carstereo store told him it was cause he copied the DVDs... or did he burn it incorrectly? also, just wondering, is there a software upgrade included? what does it include?
  2. +1 i don't think it does it with *every* track, though... so i just reckoned it was really really really picky on small glitches in the mp3 files... and as for the lack of questions on the forum about it, i reckoned everybody did like with the D3, buy an ipod and forget about the usb thing? dunno if that works here, though. i don't have an ipod..
  3. same problem here. touch screen seems very insensitive.....
  4. that would be nice if there would be any proper speedcam POI databases for belgium. i think what OP means is a kind of radar detector. which would be pretty neat, but illegal in alot of places............
  5. maybe a stupid question, but what would happen if i'd updated my EU unit to the US 2.0?
  6. probably software problem. or your location but i've been encountering annoyances with the software, too.. that it forgets to tell me to take an exit. it's on the map, but it isn't said..... it's only on some locations (main road takes a curve, there's a side street that goes "straight ahead". navi doesn't seem to know it's supposed to say "take the next turn left" or whatever) i'd like to have the D3 navi on my f900
  7. thanks for the theme, man. greatly appreciated!
  8. so i've recently 'upgraded' from a D3 to a F900bt, and apart from everything being new and all, i really wonder why it has to respond so slowly... so i've looked around on here for a while, and i already removed the beep sounds, changed the memory settings, turned off the fault reporting, and stuff.... but it's still slow as something really slow, so i was looking around. the european f900 doesn't have the voice recognition, and the text to speech stuff is more of an annoyance than anything else, when living in bilingual regions anyway, the question is, can i just go around and th
  9. hi everybody i have a kind of problem. . . i'm in central europe. i've got the map for western europe, and the map for eastern europe. they fit together seamlessly. but what if i wanted to go from a point on the map of western europe to a point on the eastern map, eg. from paris to budapest? do i need to do something special, buy a new set of maps, or evade trips like that? Thanks
  10. hi everybody i've had my avic d3 for a couple of months now, but just now i started wondering, how accurate are those G force gauges? yeah, they're logarithmical, so you can' actually easily put a number on it, but i'm jsut interested in how much i can rely on the numbers. . . oh, and is there any USB module out there somewhere worth buying? the one i have now sucks ass. thanks
