  1. SWDW, you the man!! I got the DVDs in no time and it looks so GOOD!! I can't believe how good they look!!!! Also it runs great!!! The XM channels now show the right labels and I can use POI search again(Didn't work on my D2 when I upgrade to 2008) Here are some pictures I took with my Phone to show how Great they look!! Mike, thank you!!
  2. I download the East ISO disc (Newzbin) and tried to burn it (using Meganews and GrabIt). I noticed that the ISO had a Date name (Inside of PowerISo and Nero instead of the CDNT***) . I believe this version is just files and does not load in a D-2, not an image copy. I may have to buy a DVD since no one is seeding. I wish there was a FTP site. makes life a LOT easier!!

That's strange?? Are you using the CNDV-70 DVDs?? The DVD shows 0kb files for some bootup images. It also ilooks like it's missing files if you look at it in MS Explorer. You need to use a ISO scanner like ISO Buster to see the missing files?

No one (that I know of) has been seeding the ISOs. Maybe because it's easier to just buy them off MR XM then downloading 8 - 16 GBs, burning on DL DVDs to find that they are bad or corrupted (I know you can check the ChkSum but..). You could buy a DVD and seed it.... That's my 2 cents, and I don't give refunds!! Meanwhile... Back at the Hall of Justice...........
  5. FYI, I order E & W from PaisanNYC and I got then in 2 days USPS Express. He is located in in... guess?? NY and I'm located in Rhode Island (the construction and corruption state). I have been using the East DVD every day with not ONE single problem. There work 100%. Now, I need to find my copy of the West coast since I lost it BUT what are the chances I will drive to that part of the country. PS I'm also working on a way to update the background boot image with the 70's DVD. The boys at Pioneer decided to mess with the DVD.

When I get a chance, I will look at what Pioneer was screwing with on the DVD's allocation table. Sometimes, the easiest things to fix, are the hardest thing to find!

I tried to modify the BGOpen & BGOpen2. I get the "Insert app.....". Using ISOBuster, I copied the whole DVD to my local drive, modded the files then burn it on a DL DVD with Nero.. No Luck. Why can't hacking be easy (because it wouldn't be fun!!!!)

Just a FYI.. IsoBuster shows the whole file structure, including PIM2DIN... The good-ole boys at Pioneer added bad data to mess us up..

So has anyone successfully added their own backgrounds and/or Boot screen on the 70 Nav data?
  10. XM, I just got the East & West DVDs. Damn, that was delivered quickly!! Are you the mailman or something?? Thanks a lot and every time I get lost, I will think of you (well maybe not)...
  11. Believe it or not but I don't have any more wires left since I'm using all the wires on the harness. Does anyone have an extra wire or know of one that I could use (or buy). Chris
  12. Where can I get a copy of the imagetbl and the xm jpgs? Chris PS I searched using the AVIC411 & Google and got "na-da"
