  1. I've done this mod on about 5 F90's and no problem. Tried my first X910 last night and its been nothing but headaches. I ended up doing the winCE update which i guess wasnt necessary. then tried copying the files over. Not enough space. then i read about deleting some map files. So i did that and it copies over fine. Then i get the pioneer screen and then black. I did copy the CONTENTS of the myflash disk folder over. Not the whole folder. Im currently going to try to load a backup of the myflashdisk from the original firmware. I've been scratching my head on this one for a few hours. A
  2. seems to be working fine, but it doesnt seem to show speed limit when i choose it to be on the displayed info screen. thanks anyways.!
  3. I have the VSS wire hooked up to the blue white at the cruise control module just above the gas pedal. and i chose the speed to display on the route info window on the map screen. I still just have an exclamation mark there and it shows 0km/h. I have had the unit installed for about a week without it hooked up so i tried resetting the unit to see if it needed that to recognize that the VSS was hooked up. And still no dice. Any ideas where i've gone wrong?.... i know im on the right wire at the cruise module as i have verified the pin location with mitchell ondemand. Thanks in advance!
  4. The pioneer rep for canada has told some of us the the F series units are no longer available for order. He would not tell us anything about the replacement. My concern about this has to do with maybe the F series hardware platform not actually being fast enough to support the software requirements. We were told that the F90's replacement would be more money. Its very rare for pioneer to replace a Nav piece so quickly. Are they concerned about people hacking it? or are they worried about other problems with it? Im kind of torn if i should buy one of the few pieces left or if i should grab the
