  1. Good find. I'll try add that later in the update.
  2. That shouldn't happen at all, what series is your device? The only software that used the fmod library is that ppod audio player.
  3. I have one available, and that will be my next test once i get a chance to.
  4. No this wont work... You need to download TomTom 7 map. cough.... p....bay
  5. A/V is temporary, the new A/V is coming out later. It should fix these sluggish problem.
  6. Not yet. New audio/video player will not support IPOD yet. However, on the bright side the player will support more file format: AC3,Divx,Xvid,MP3,MS-MPEG4-v3,OGG,MPEG,3GP,ASF,AVI,OGM,QuickTime. Will support M3U playlist format. Who need ipod support right? In the future release, I will try get IPOD to work.
  7. Let your car sit outside for a while to pick up the gps again. I dont think there is anything wrong with your GPS, it probably lost its pinpoint location to the satellites.
  8. That audio player is only temporary, new audio/video player coming soon.
  9. I am actually working on this right now. My goal is to have an mp3 player that support a playlist system similar to Itune. With this I hope to get an external hard drive to work similar to an ipod equivalent. Thus, it will support id3, visualization, artist, album, and playlist. It is cheaper to have a hard drive than an ipod. This is in progress right now.. but i can't guaranteed how long it will take me to code something like this. This should work on all F series unit.
  10. Good job figuring this out , I was about to post the same fix bout keybinding.
  11. Make sure you copy the LANG folder from your Pioneer IGO CONTENT folders into /iGo8/CONTENT/ on your SD CARD.
  12. Your SD Card should contain the following: \Storage Card\ ->voices ->TomTom ->Testmode ->iGo8
  13. No you dont need any other folder other than the one inside the zip file. It should launch correctly. Make sure you extract everything exactly as is onto the root of the SD Card, put the SD card on and reboot unit.
  14. Updated. See first post for Download and instructions.
  15. TomTom sound is now working. There is no tools. I disassemble using IDA, and then rewrite the ASM. My front end is pure C++ on ARMv4 platform . Im thinking of adding another NAVI too for variety. GARMIN Mobile XT Update: Igo8 sound is now working as well. This update is coming tomorrow I promise
  16. Good news!!! I figured out the sound. You guys should expecting an update shortly!!

Actually I was wrong, after dissecting the programs, it seems like it is written in mostly ARMv4 platform.
  18. I already figured this out. Look at the AVIC Launcher thread. I will post this launcher and solutions tomorrow.
  19. Hi guys, I have not made any good progress lately with the sound. Been disassembling pioneer software to see how they were able to control the sound but can't seem to duplicate this action. If there is someone here that is knowledgeable with Embedded device you can help me with this. This audio problem is holding up on the project. I tried many things such as setting the WAV1: to different power state but with no luck. By looking through he function that was called by their software, it looks like Pioneer have their own API library for their sound manager. Another thing, I was
  20. If you having this problem, just copy or rename the Igo.exe file as EZRIDER.exe. The launcher launch as EZRIDER.exe not IGO.exe. So far the launcher is just to let you guys know what we can do, launcher will radically change on next update.
  21. Hey guys, I have already tried and was able to connect the usb as mass storage controller. The only thing is I need to write something that will read it, haven't really look into that yet. For those that was wondering about bypassing that warning message, it is part of the pioneer kiosk front end and thus reverse engineer will fix it. However, as of right now I will not try to modify it yet. My main concern right now is to enable sound for the Windows CE apps. Pioneer software are able to access that audio hardware in a different layer. This is why iGO8, TomTom, and any other soft
  22. I got AV and the Launcher to work with the Pioneer Kiosk. Launcher menu can be hide/unhide by pressing the Menu button. AV can now play music with 3rd party software. This is progress but I will not release the update until I fix some bugs. In the mean time enjoy the screenshot.
  23. TomTom 7 is now working with launcher. I will upload new updates soon once I fix up some stuff. But here are some pics Now we can use many different GPS Navigation software with our unit . I will try to get sound up and working with the Launcher when I figure out how to activate the sound. haha I guess this screen shot give away my coordinate
