  1. I've noticed that if I don't leave my Ipod plugged in, the suspend/hibernate feature appears to work just fine. Ummmm...so, it still works, but something is up with the iPod connection and the device or something? Anybody else want to try to confirm. I haven't done extensive testing on this or anything.
  2. I can't see anything going wrong here at all! But what, a new F500BT is only 160 bucks these days, so it's not a terrible proposition anymore to "brick" a unit.
  3. Meaning that I will not be able to succesfully downgrade? And I'm not alone on this, I started a thread on the General sub-forum and a few others replied that they were having the same issue.
  4. Does anybody have the stock 2.006 image for the F500BT? The 3.0 upgrade sucks...I want to downgrade! I guess if that's even possible. I did the legit 60 buck Pioneer 3.0 update. Now my unit power cycles (full boot) on every ignition cycle, whereas it used to hibernate/suspend and go nearly instant and instant off. While the boot time isn't terrible, GPS acquisition time IS PATHETIC on a cold-boot F500BT, and is making my device nearly pointless in my city driving use. I could probably live with having to turn the volume back to 20 on every boot, but not this GPS crap! It was working
  5. Yeah, I don't know if a downgrade is possible. I feel this thread now belongs in a new sub-forum, but does anyone know how do downgrade? Using my Avic again today, not only do I have to cold-boot at every ignition, but GPS signal acquisition is taking forever (like 5+ minutes) every time I start. The device has literally become unusable for me like this, and I feel like I have given this thing a whole week of use/testing to determine this. Frustrated.
  6. After the 3.0 update, my F500BT no longer "sleeps" correctly, and goes through full-off, full-on process everytime I start/stop my vehicle. Is this the same for you all? Also, sometimes the iPod starts automatically, other times it doesn't start, regardless of whether the unit was playing the iPod prior to shutdown.
  7. Was wondering if any of you other F500BT owners out there are having the same issue as me. I applied the 3.0 update just fine. However, for some reason, now my unit shuts down completely every time I start or stop my car. Previously, the unit would just go to sleep, and then once you started the vehicle back up, it would resume whatever activity nearly instantly (music, GPS route, etc). Now I have to wait for the full start-up (splash screen, etc). The start-up isn't a horribly lengthy process (<1 minute) but the big benefit with the F500BT was the built in battery and the instant
