BUG info.....run launcher...run igo.. run avic...everithing runs ok exceot for the setting option...when i try to run it the settings in the main avic menu i get a fatal error and the avic rebots the unit...no big deal but it's a bug.....lol..... After some tests.... In AVIC version 1.00017 and Launcher 1.5 it was okay to run AVIC and then IGO..... In AVIC 2.0 and Launcher 1.5 it was ok to run AVIC and then IGO only if you didn't upgrade the bluetooth....after upgrading the bluetooth we start to get the memory error....soh it's something with the bluetooth upgrade, that's why in Launcher 2.0 you can't use the bluetooth after the IGO is open, looks like the try to reserve the same memory allocation and always the first one up doesn't let the second open opens. GUGA

Anyone having problems running igo8 and avi together? After upgrading to 2.0 everything was fine but then I upgrade the bluetooth software and was unable to run AVIC and IGO together. If I run only Igo it runs smooth....but when I try to run AVIC and then Igo I gives me an error.....Very strange.....anyone that hasn't done the bluetooth upgrade can try to reproduce this??? Will do some research in the weekend. GUGA

I was habing problems with my ipod, had to boot it 2 or 3 times in a trip of 2 hours.... Just updated THE IPOD to the latest firmware, all problems were gone. Update the avic to 2.0...a lot better...now we need to find a way to patch the internal IGO software so we can use with any maps.... GUGA

1) Leet used my pacthed Igo in his launcher....soh they are the same, the only thing you need to do is the DATA.zip patch that is not included in the neither in the laucher or in my patched version.....this way you can go between igo and launcher without problems... 2) I do everything in the PC, and test it in the Unit.....i think it's easier this way GUGA

if you don't run anything besides TOMTOM or IGO application from the launcher then you don't need to copy the sys.txt file. We need to do this workaround if you are running avic from the launcher then any of the GPS softwares, because it changes the port of gpsthat the internal gps software uses so it won't get locked. After copying the sys.txt file your internal IGO software won't work anymore because it won;t locate the GPS, to revert it just copy the original sys.txt file back to it's place. Any doubt PM me. The file has one voice, as long as i remember it's a US male voice....vut it's really easy to add more voices if you want...just download and copy the zip file to te igo8/content/voices GUGA

Leet I got I problem while running Igo....the only way to go back to the launcher is exiting Igo....Just to let you know... Edit **** Figured it out....the commands are in the keybind.txt in DATA.zip....edited and changed the function of the button to MINIMIZE now I can go between AVIC and IGO8 as i please.....reallllly nice! Funny...my unit really does nees the update....but It won't work...same problem. Anyway... now I'm waiting for Avic launcher to be released to see if it's really worth the trouble. Tks all

You should follow the Leet instructions to get the launcher working. After that just follow my post about installing the Igo8, it's already changed to use with the launcher. It's a patched version so any map should do run, even European ones. Any doubts contact me. GUGA

The USA Maps comes with the Original AViC. It's in the MAPS directory, if not just google for it....it's easy to find.

one suggestion, why dont include a configuration file so each one can enable or disable the itens in the launcher according to each one preferences?!?!? AWESOME JOB!!!! This must be a sticky!!!!!

Anyone had problems doing the firmware update? I tried it yesterday, following the pioneer instructions but nothing happens. Tried copying from both MAC and PC using different SD Cards but the system simply boots up normally. I booted in testmode to sse if SD was showing up in the explorer and it does...tries to reset and nothing happens..... Any ideas? Tks GUGA

Lucky!!!!! Mine ran with sound only onde then I never could get the sound to work..... Can you explain how you are doing to get in testmode and all the other steps to run the IGO Like wich folder you name created.. in details so I can debug why I can't get sound! Tks GUGA
