Ok. I haven't turned off smart zoom... I will try that now. But as of right now, when I tilt the 3d display, I just see a solid blue at the top and the system doesn't follow behind me, it just stays where it was until eventually the arrow (my car) is just gone off the screen from driving too far away. Is it not possible to have the system follow me while the screen is tilted so I can drive with the sky at the same time?

Hey guys. I'm running Diaftias mod on my F700 and it's working flawlessly. I would like to know how to add the sky to my 3d view an the tilt that will follow me with the sky mod at the same time. Any help is appreciated!

Been a while since I've been on the forums. I've had an F700 for a while now and one of the big complaints since I've had it has been the way album art looks on the screen. It's all pixelated. When I frequented these forums every day in the past, no one was able to figure out the cause. Now that 3.0 is out I figured it may have resolved the problem but it's still there. Has there been anymore info on this problem and a way to fix it or are we just screwed? Thanks.

The first thing you should check is in the radio. Go to Settings -> System Settings -> Ant Control and see if it's set to Radio or Power. Whichever one it is set to, tap it to change it to the other one. There are two blue wires in most cars wiring harness and a lot of people cross the antenna wire with the remote wire but the radio will adjust for this situation. If this doesn't help, there should be some sort of LED light on your amp to ensure it is getting power. If it doesn't seem to be getting power, get a meter and plug it up to see if the remote line has power. If the remote l

Sweet... Go it now. Two more questions. I hear a random ding dong come through the speakers with or without a route active but nothing pops up on the screen to let me know what it is. And second, I've never tried to write any codes for this thing but how difficult would it be to add stuff to the nav screen. I was thinking a basic "reverse play/pause and forward" button for music and a time counter of the current track playing. Would any of that be possible? Ok. IT WORKED! Thank for the assistance guys. I played with it a little bit but I gotta get ready for work. One thing I did that I have a question about is I "dropped a pin" in the plan mode. I went back into the plan mode, but I don't know how to remove the pin that I dropped. Also... I am using the F700 so I have no use for MSN direct. I put the data.zip file from the non msn version in but it's still there. Did I do something wrong?

You need the DATA.zip file, the SYS.txt file and the two font files Thanks abb. Going out to put it on right now. Bucs are getting murdered so no need to keep watching at this point. LOL

No, I did not install Font files, I did not know that it was a requirement. Can I make a suggestion, Can you please put ALL the files required in the non-msn package as well as a lot of people dont use it (I can't in my area) or they have the 700BT that does not have it. This is what threw me off as when you only download one file, you figure that is all you need. Just a suggestion! I will try to install the Font files later and see if that solves the problem. Don't forget though, with the software hack, you still have to have the parking break wire grounded I don't have the parking brake wire grounded and my software mod does it all. I don't think that is possible. Maybe you grounded the wire without realizing it or whoever installed it did, I have mine grounded through a switch and when I flip the switch, it tells me my parking brake wire is not grounded.

I tried this as well. No luck. Abb, you said you have done other hacks on 3.0/3.1 right? Do you have a Data.zip file that has the software bypass as well as the cancel route button and mute button on the map? That's all I'm really looking for. This mod would be nice, but obviously it's not gonna work. If you have a Data.zip with these mods I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

That's exactly whats happening to me. I'm not a noob at modding this unit so I don't understand at all why this is happening. I would like to try this mod out so if anyone can shed some light on what the problem might be I would greatly appreciate it.

Is there anything else that needs to be done other than copying the Data.zip file to APL2/iGo folder? I changed some sounds in the file and copies it over and the system startup screen gets stuck. So then I tried using the original Data.zip file downloaded from page one without MSN (I'm using F700) and the system boots but when you go to the "Map" button, the system reboots itself. Am I missing something? Was there something else that I was supposed to do? Many thanks for all the hard work guys.

you can always go on Pioneers web site and download the 2.06 firmware and install that I finally got it done. I really cannot believe how tedious this thing is. I did EVERYTHING with my pc this time and started from the beginning and this time it went through. The only difference between this time and the last time is that last time I transferred the files from my pc to my network hard drive, then from the network hdd to my mac, and put the files on the SD card from my mac even though I decompressed everything on the pc. The reason for this is that the PC is super old and only has USB 1.0

Nope... finished copying the files this way and have the exact same problem. Can anyone tell me how to revert to 2.0 so I can atleast use my unit again. I'm not afraid that it's bricked because it starts and I can still access testmode, but I am just so frustrated with the unit I would be happy at this point just to get it back to where it was before.

What file did you erase? What you have to do is erase your ENTIRE 'My Flash Disk' and then without turning your unit off, copy over the 'My Flash Disk' from the hacked version. This HAS to work unless your version is corrupted Ok, well I went out and tried to delete the entire file called "My Flash Disk" and it successfully deleted all of the files inside, but it told me it could not delete the actual file as it "... could not read from disk" So I opened My Flash Disk and saw that it was completely empty (though it was completely empty last time too) But now I am moving the new files o

I used winrar to extract all files that I used. I didn't delete the actual "folder" off my system just everything inside the folder. Should I ealrase the actual folder instead?

This is absolutely insane. I deleted the file and replaced all the files with the hacked version and now the system will stay in "startup mode" for about 3 minutes, then it will restart. Can anyone please tell me what I have done wrong? And if not, can someone tell me what to do to go back to 2.0?

Ok. So the update went in successfully however, I am having the problem of the unit rebooting every two minutes. Music plays and the buttons work, but the unit just reboots itself every 2 minutes or so. I tried deleting the fav folder and the gps.para files as well to no avail. I am currently deleting the entire MyFlashDisk folder and "re-copying" everything back to it as another user suggested and hopefully this will work. If it doesn't, does anyone have any other suggestions on how I can resolve this problem? I know I'm getting close to finishing, just not quite there yet. For those who had

Ok... so I didn't read the directions wrong. I did everything the way the directions stated. Two things the directions did not state were (possibly) 1. we should revert back to our original firmware first or 2. extract all files on a pc instead of a mac. I went through the entire process again using my pc instead of my mac and I also went back to my original firmware before I started the process this time and it seems to be working. I have the hacked version. When I put the as card in the radio and hit the upgrade option it just tells me update fail immediately. I don't understand what's going on with it.
