Typically if you had a car with the white box around it then added an alpha channel and now you have nothing it means you did not put anything on the alpha channel. You have a transparent image ... thus nothing shows up. You have to add what you want to be visible to the alpha channel.

I think you need to replace this ;Stop Nav Button with this ;Stop Nav Button I have not done it because I don't have an IPod but I think that should work oh and the code is near the top in navigatemap_800_480.ui

******Updated (again) *********** Ok here is the latest and greatest. click the Zip the first set of buttons I made were too small for my fat fingers, so I made this set. I almost had all the short cuts then thought what the hell add them all. Hope you like it, I know it takes up important screen realestate but I thought they were important buttons sorry for the blurry pics...

my error was my mistake, when I went to do the fix again I put the images in the wrong folder...I just get to excited and try to do things to fast

I just did that in photoshop I did not check for the coordinates but I could give you a good guess. the images are 72 x 55 so stop nav should be x=556 y=77 and mute should be x=638 y=77 I think.....

the sizing is off so if you want to use it with the button outline it is going to take a bit of tweaking

strange about the compass I just changesd the one I found int he 800_480 folder, so that means that one would have run wrong too

pass information through a button for instance I would like to create a button to search for food near gps location. I have found the following: onrelease='run sc_StartPOISearchAroundGPSQS' which will bring up the POI categories... how can I pass a vairiable to it so it will automatically search food with no value..showing all food near gps.

in the last shot it shows you traveling west but the compass says east. Is it displaying the heading incorrectly?

Yup you can just delete it if you want or you can move it around anywhere you want. I like the navigation stop so I would either make an invisible button over the compass or somewhere else on the screen or move them like in the image if I had an IPOD.

I am really getting into making some changes in this thing and having a lot of fun. My question is how much of this data.zip file can we get rid of with out ill effects. I guess I can just start deleting as long as I back up but I was wondering what everyone is getting rid of. I no there is a ton of code you can delete in the .ui file which helps making changes less confusing. What about all the extra .bmp's in the ui_pioneer/800_400 and ui_pioneer/common folders. Seems like a lot of those bmp's were part of some other build or skin.

Man the more you dig around in here the more you see how much you can do with these units... On the nav screen there is a button to pull up what ever audio source you are listening to. With the functions that you have found can we make a button to pull up another audio source. I skip between AM and Sirius quite a bit and it would save me alot of clicks if I could build a shortcut. I understand that there are a number of programs running at once here but I thought since there is a button on the nav to bring up current audio source that perhaps we could build a button to bring up ano

The stop icon will conflict with IPod album art. I had the stop button on the compass before but had difficulty making it work with the linear compass. But as mentioned earlier you could make a button with 0 alpha ontop of the compass and use that as the stop button. Since I don't have an Ipod it is not an issue for me. You could just move the button where ever you want...here is the code you would need to change in navigatmap_800_480.ui . Just change the x and y value to what ever you want. or upload a 0 alpha button and position it at x=720 y=77 (right above the compass) That is

Borris do you have any screen shots of any of the changes you made. I saw you mentioned you are not a big graphics guy. Well I am a graphics guy and a little bit of a code guy so maybe I can help making the changes more seemless. Although I have no idea because I am not exactly sure what all the changes being made are.
