Hi just ordered this unit to replace my older f series. On the rear there is a Canbus input and pioneer seem to make a hard to find adapter. Looking at it it must connect to the can high and low on my vw caravelle? Can you just get the connector for it and is the unit compatible with any VW with climatronic? It's not a deal breaker but it would be a nice integration if I can do it

Hi, I have a Avis F900BT and since IOS 5 this is the issue - we have several iOS devices bith 3gs and 4 iphones rebot if IOS 5 but if we use a non IOS i device it works as before. This is crazy that Apple / Pioneer have allowed this bug - clearly not made for iphone as the logo suggests...

Hi does anyone knhatehat pioneer remote works with a Avic f 900bt? Looking thus is "compatible with all pioneer blutooth cd player" seems too broad to me CD-SR120 ?

Im just about to have the same thing with a new iphone an my F900. I nearly ordered the Pioneer CD IU230V but then i noticed the itouch ( which i also have ) apparently doesn't allow video out on the CD IU230V ? Is this true and is it the same for the iphone, or is the apple cable the same / better? I would prefer the pioneer one as again the black would match the interior of my vw caravelle, however it migh not be noticed becuase it's going thorugh a Brodit pass through mount. When i play a dvd it comes out the rear screen. Then I can press map on the front and turn up the volume. The kids can watch the dvd in the back and I can use the Nav as normal. If i play a divx it comes out the front screen but never comes out the rear?

Any ideas?

Hi, I have my HP data messenger paied up nicley with my Pioneer F900, Call quality is good and you can easily hear me talking at speed. However I when a incoming call coming in the phone rings, however the F900 plays nothing at all and then a massive horrible cracking noise which nearly blows the speakers out the car! Any ideas?! Is there a registry setting i can change? I have the latest european BT and system firmware.

Hi, is there any way to use a browser and or connect an ip network connection.

I use a 16Gb Class 6 card and it works like a charm for music and video.

I forgot to say , the next day i tried and it did the same, I tried another place and it worked, and then tried another destination and it reset... :s

Hi, I was recently in Birmingham (UK) and every time I put in the destination the unit reset. I tried several times ( i tell you i nearly smacked the screen out the dash! ) If i put in the ICC under POI it found it and took me there.. I've never had this before? I'm sure I saw about a firmware update either here or on the Pioneer website to fix this biut i've searched and can't find anything and the Pioneer website only has the 1.9 firmware... ARRGHHH!!

I disagree, it should and pause the cd and / or ipod. Any other radio does this as standard, My vw radio did it, my old alpine, a pioneer. It is a feature which has not been implemented correctly and if it they think it is they have missed it's purpose.Why would you listen to music / audiobook etc take a call and find out it has finished by the time the call is finished. At this price it should be standard. Maybe Not a full bug but a very bad implementation.

I for the life of can't see why any company would design a nav that does this. It is stupid! You pull up at a 5 way roundabout in a second you check the screen as you are confused any to see the screen is inverted! Whoever thought this was good needs shooting, no other sat does this without the option to disable it.....

Hi, Not the actual first sync but stopping the continous syncing, when connected. On my HP 6915 it kills the memory on the phone when it is synced up. Is there a way to stop contact syncing? Thanks!
