I've made a SD card with the newest maps of NORTH AMERICA , all you have to do is just put the SD card when navigation is OFF and then turn it ON. All is working great, without and "unlocking", you don't lose your warranty in this way! - because you only edit your SD card, not main memory on the unit! I can put all of that, on the NET to download. I expect small fee for my time, try to understand that. Write PM or e-mail service@gps.pol.pl

OK but is it really worth $130? I'm 100% sure that the coverage is just little better than the previous map. I have got 2008 update for Europe - and i know now, that it's worthless. I have just ordered this US version, and i will tell how does it look.

I think that the best map for USA is igo8. http://navngo.com/pages/global/eng/news ... g_20081211 If you want to run it on s1, you will have to prepare main program files specially. Sorry but on the Net isn't any free solutions how to install it. I can say you what you have to do, but i expect small fee for that.

you have to 'prepare' SD CARD - i know how to do that, but i work in gps service, so try to understand me that i want small fee for my time = my job GPS-POL

why don't reinstall everything from the original DVD?!

u will need the CD with software for your's unit - run it on your's computer with plugged navigation, on the CD should be smth about reinstalling software if u still have got this problem just write,

Hi, I wrote two days ago about 2 files that i need to restore my Pioneer. I can't find it anywhere. But.. If someone on this forum has got the unlocked AVIC-S2 - there is possibility to get the ROM. Please help me!
