I got this working....sort of. I don't get any errors or reboots, anyway. I copied the ui_igo8\Common folder from DPDurst and added it to IDT's data.zip then replaced mine and cleared all my save files. I then repeated my initial steps and copied DPDurst's GFX folder to APL2\igo and extracted the schemes from DPDurst and copied to APL2\igo\content\scheme. No more errors, and MOST of the schemes work. For example, the Autumn Day Bright is fine, I see the autumn trees and the sky. The NightStars 1 is fine, shows the stars. But some of the others are using the wrong SKY. I can't fin

7-Zip is failing as well, and I've tried now on 3 machines. The video.zip I'm not having a problem with, just the av.zip. Thoughts?

Thanks Diaftia for the quick reply. So should the copied files from IDT just be going into the target GFX folder? Or into scheme folder itself, where I would need to tied them in with their respective zips?

I was trying to mix mods, and I've been using the IDT mod for now. I wanted to get some new schemes, because I really like the sky-type 3d views. I keep getting that the av.zip file is corrupt. I've tried on two boxes, opening the zip with winzip and winrar. Just me?

I saw a couple requests on this earlier in the thread, but I didn't see a firm answer. Should we be able to see any street names in 3d mode? Anything specific we need to configure to make that work? I've only had this mod for a couple of hours. Phenominal.

OK stupid question time. 99% of my travel is done in just 2-3 U.S. states. Can I upgrade just these few states, without doing all of them? And if I ever decide for a road trip, will I have a problem once I cross a border for a non upgraded state?

Awesome work. Just tried this in the driveway, didn't have a chance to go take it for a spin. I was very much missing the shortcuts after upgrading to 3.0. Keeper did you also include the street number mod? If not I'll muck around and see if I can get it working. Did you ever get this to work? I've been out of the loop for awhile on this forum, and just noticed this thread. I had a few shortcuts on my map screen, as well as the mute and cancel-route buttons. I'd really like to know if these are still customizable within the data.zip before I proceed. Sorry if that's a newb question, if anyone can respond to confirm it would be greatly appreciated. Is it possible to get this in a standalone file? Sorry to be a pain, but I'm not so cool with an app that I can't save to my desktop and scan for a virus before installing. Also if in a year I want to edit and this post is gone or the link is dead, I can keep a local copy. Has nothing to do with you or your brother, I'm sure the app is kick-ass, it's just how I try to stay safe with my machines. No offense intended here.

As I understand it, USB hubs will not work with the Avic. I haven't tried myself, but I know I have seen this topic several times in the past.

I live near Charlotte, NC and while Charlotte is full green on the msndirect maps my particular area is a bit spotty, but I knew that going in. But I love this feature, and paid for the lifetime subscription. I use it everytime I get gas, and the gas prices are always accurate - that alone pays for the service. The traffic feature has rerouted me around at least a dozen major traffic accidents. I'd love to see some changes to this - the night sky in 3d on my wifes infiniti has a black sky with stars spread across the image. It is one of the very few things I like better from hers to the Avic. I poked around on their site, don't see any screenshots though. I'd love to know if these would work.

Just swing by a dealer and ask if they have any old harnesses. It doesn't have to be for a F90, just find one with wires like what you need. You could also order a replacement one from Pioneer.

And Peterm69, do you mind sharing your Radar Ping file? I played around with some of the others I saw linked from here, and they seemed equally annoying so I never changed it. Would love to try one easier on the ears.

This I have tried - I can't much tell the difference between Approach and Simple - I still get a LOT of barks. Usually the popup on the map notes that I am .5 miles away, and it continues barking til i get there. Yes, I'm usually speeding. I read the other threads, and I see how to change the wav to a different sound, but not how to reduce the number of times the wav is repeated. I'd like to be alerted a half mile away once....and that's it. I also saw the thread about changing to an English voice, but I don't believe that one is totally complete yet. Did I overlook another thread? M
