Update.. I was able to get the unit working by starting up in test mode and deleting the files mentioned in post #13 here (http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18497).I will keep u guys updated if it craps out again.

anyone have instructions and the files need for test mode start up??? if so please send me a link.... thanks,

Ok i'm pissed!!! After reading on reviews and mods on this great forum, i decided to go ahead with the Avic-700BT. I ordered it on Dec.29th @ 5PM and its arrived Dec.30th @ 11AM using ground shipping!!!
