  1. Nobody has installed a back up camera? Anyone know how low you are able to mount it? E
  2. Have people had good experiences with the ND-BC20PA Parking Assist Camera? I saw a few posts about people that were about to install one - but no follow ups... I am wondering if it will work well on my car - 2007 VW Eos. I reviewed the installation manual (from Pioneers site). It says "do not mount the camera below the license plate" - and shows a diagram with the license plate on the trunk lid. Well as you can see from the attached picture - my license plate (as well as a lot of other cars) is in the rear bumper - much lower than the trunk lid. The installation instructions d
  3. I was wondering if anyone else has seen the issue I've been experiencing since the 2.0 upgrade. Three or four times i have had the Zoom "stuck" either zoomed all the way in or zoomed all the way out. When I go to the map view it will start at the standard zoom level and automatically zoom all the way in (or all the way out). If I choose to view entire route on screen it will do the same thing. It does this in both 2D and 3D. Apparently, the only way to stop it from doing this is to reboot - PIA on the highway. I have not changed the "smart zoom" settings from default. I have not ma
  4. Update: So somehow I have managed to stop this issue from happening; at least it hasn't happened in a few weeks. The only thing I've done is leave the iPod connected all the time. I have the AVIC-f900BT set up to NOT update the VR database. The "iPod Coneection failed" issue happened for the first few days after connecting it, but since then has not happened. I am updating my iPod now - so will have to update the VR database again. I expect to run into the problem few more times, but hope it will stabilize. E
  5. I have a VW Eos 2007. Same as any MK5 with MDF I had to get all three of those peripherals to get the steering wheel buttons to work. The buttons work okay. not great. only the vol up, down and ATT work. Track up down, other functions that use the same buttons as the MFD (Multi function display) dont work. FYI
  6. Well I guess its not just me. I'm getting more and more frustrated with this product every day - unfortunately I am in for a penny, in for a pound. Has anyone heard anything solid from Pioneer about this problem? I am finding I need to constantly plug and unplug my iPod to get it to work. No setting changes to the iPod or AVIC, no clear remedy to get it to consistently work. I've tried turning to radio before shut down. powering off iPod before replugging, Turning VR Cat update off or on... nothing seems to have any effect... This is my second AVIC-F900BT (Pioneer took 5 weeks
