Is there a way to load a POI list? I want the unit to warn me of red light cameras

It always seems fine on our side. What I'm really asking about is the other side. Does the Z110 filter out road noise? The Z1/2/3 was so bad that callers had a very difficult time holding a conversation with me. Is there a significant improvement in bluetooth noise reduction between the Z3 and the Z110?

I currently have a Z3 and about to upgrade to the Z110. I was never happy with the Z3's bluetooth quality. How is the Z110? Is it significantly better? Does it have sound processing to filter out road noise?

I can confirm the following: Original iPhone - with 1.x software - works flawlessly (charge, ipod, bluetooth) Original iPhone - with 2.x software - limited ipod capability (sometimes it works, sometimes not). Bluetooth works fine. Charging does NOT work Downgrading back to 1.x SW fixed the charging issue iPhone 3G - bluetooth works great. iPod does not work at all. Does not charge.

My first gen iPhone used to charge with my AVIC until I upgraded to iPhone 2.0 software. Now it doesn't.

My major gripe with the Z1 was no ability to search for an intersection. Does the Z3 add that ability? I've seen a post on here saying that it does, but I haven't seen it. Can anyone confirm?

Once again, you're waisting your time and money by trying to upgrade the microphone. The microphone is not the problem.

The microphone is not the problem! The problem is with the sound processing and noise cancellation algorithm in the head unit. Until that is resolved, upgrading mics won't help.

I have always had this problem with my Z1. It think that I am about 50 feet behind in the road than I really am. I can drive throughan intersection and the map shows that I'm about to get to it. It is pretty annoying. I have had this problem without VSS connected and with VSS connected. I have tried resetting the unit several times. It always ends up doing the same thing. Any suggestions?

Does the Z2 allow direct intersection input?

Just use a Mac Mini with an Apple composite out adapter. Run Front Row. It's just like apple tv, but with all the advantages of a real computer. I have one on my Z1.

I got it working on my C AMG with a Pioneer .131 adapter. You can get brave and try that if you want. I know that some aftermarket CAN peripherals work on both C and E. The window/sunroof module that I bought works on both C and E.

uh yeah, but the Z1 HEAD UNIT doesn't support RDS.
