    XM Activation

Wow, it's posts like these that remind me how dick some people can be, probably to recompensate for their own shortcomings in life. Diane, merry Christmas, thanks for the proper response. Everyone else on this thread, keep trying to make your penis bigger through making fun of others on the *INTERNET*. Perhaps some day you'll achieve enlightenment by being a total a$$hole for the whole world to see. And for the record, no, i don't have the tuner, nor do i care enough to buy one.

    XM Activation

I just had my F90BT installed, and I want to try the XM radio. I checked the XM website, and they say that I need the 8 digit ID from "channel 0", or from any correspondence from them. The problem is that in the AV source selection screen, XM is greyed out, so I can't get to Channel 0. Does anyone know how to get this ID #?
  3. I dunno...I have the F90BT in my '08 GTI and I get all stations (FM & AM) perfectly fine... Good to know that my installation shop knew what they were doing...
  4. Never mind, I fixed it. I had tried renaming the key beep sound instead of deleting it, and for some reason that caused the aforementioned symptoms. Changing them back to the original name reverted everything back to English. And that will be weird enough to prevent me from tooling around with WinCE and the other mods for a while.
  5. So this was crazy enough that I had to share it with you guys, but I tried renaming the sound files mentioned by adding a "1" on the end (effectively hiding from the source that was looking for it I think?). And it turned my map language into French. Anything that had to do with navigation (POI, Home, Navi settings, the main map) got turned to French, even though everything else (and the language settings) was in English. But as soon as I renamed them to the original file name, everything reverted back to English. So I have no clue if this has happened to anyone else, but in case a
  6. So...I'm having an issue with my brand new F90BT. The navigation and everything associated (Nav Settings) with it is in French, but everything else (Contacts, AV, & all the other settings menus) are in English. The language it's set to right now is English, and I tried setting it to French, then back to English, but that didn't work. I contacted Pioneer, but they'll only replace the unit, but not pay for my uninstall/reinstall fees. So...I'd rather fix it now than have to deal with all of that. Has anyone ever seen this before?
  7. yeah i just found out that it turned. I thought it was just a joystick.
  8. I got it at Audio Symphony in SF, they did a pretty good job, looks very clean and smooth. Very happy so far. Except...I've been having a few problems. 1: The mic cannot recognize *any* of my voice phone commands, but does a pretty good job on my music commands. It can recognize "Play the artist "Green Day", but not the equally simple "Call Home". I say that, and it tries to "Call 1-5-0". Does anyone else have this problem? Would it be easier if I used this "http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18248" to change the names to just the first name? 2: And this is probably
  9. Yeah, and while you guys are at it, can you all get me a cup of coffee and the latest issue of Sports Illustrated? Thanks.
