  1. Not sure what format you have the external drive. I was successfull hooking up an external drive with a similiar install. Having the a converter running to supply the HDD with power via the Y connector. But when I filled it up past 32 gigs, it would only read the first song in the folder. It also took forever to load up. I was using a notebook HDD, with a cheapo external case. I ended up opting for a 32gig USB flash drive instead.

  6. I'm not sure where you got those files. I am interesting in helping, I'm configuring my PC now with all the applications that I need to run the conversions. Thanks for all the other voices, but I can see that they also have the same issue as Kit, where did you get all these? Tom Tom? We need those numbers! Any thoughts applications I can use to pull the audio off of movies? Thanks and I look forward to joining the project.
