  1. Never mind. Worked this time.
  2. I'm having problems with my ipod connecting so in the meantime I would just like to plug the ipod into the miniplug that it would normally use and control the ipod manually since the avic isn't doing it at the moment, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to tell the headunit to just use the aux in without controlling an ipod, is it even possible? Without an ipod connected I can scroll through ext1, 2 and AV 1,2 but I can't figure out how to get it to use the aux in and can't find anything in the manual about it, any ideas? AV1 should do it but the only options are IPOD, video, and o
  3. Anyone else run into this lately? I'm trying to use a 3rd gen ipod with a z140bh and getting the same error, however it works fine with the wifes 160gb ipod classic. WTF?
  4. Anybody heard any updates on the updated unit?
  5. I saw the 2008 thread but the MY09 is a redesign. Anyone know if they're still the same?
  6. Possibly but the whine is constant and independant of HU volume so I don't know.
  7. I forgot to mention I do have the unit bypassed.
  8. Hello, I have a Z2 in my 07 corvette, the original owner had wired it incorrectly and ran the speaker level outs into the GMCO adapter which then goes on to the factory amp. I re-connected the RCA's to the GMCO box and hooked them up to the Z2, I was getting a bad shut off pop sound so I put in a couple ground loop isolators which fixed that. Now I still have a little alternator whine in the speakers. I've tried to ground the RCA's to the pioneer chassis, and tried a temp wire right to the battery (-), whine got much worse. I tried grounding the pioneer chassis to the alternator,
  9. I think the previous owner that put this in ran the speaker level outs to the factory amp instead of the RCA, going to pull the unit soon and find out.
  10. has to be something in the wiring, the static is completely unchanged by changes in volume.
  11. anyone find a way to get rid of it? I'm getting static from all 4 speakers any time any of the AV inputs is selected, if I turn the AV section off entirely, it goes away. Found a few other threads but no solutions.
