  1. I have run a video and audio feed from the DVD player in the backseat player in my truck to the 700BT. It worked when I first installed the wiring and reset the 700Bt. Now the 700 Bt does not "see" the AV1 input unless I reset the thing. Problem with the reset is that I lose my presets. This is a problem both when parked and moving. Should not be an issue as I have done the wiring hack and GPS can be programmed fine while moving. Not sure if the DVD player being powereed up and down causes the 700Bt to forget the DVD is hooked up. Anybody had this issue and figured it out?
  2. My antenna's are both on the Dash up front. Nav works perfectly but keep in mind there are like 7 GPS satellites up there and the unit only uses 3. The Sat Radio is a different story. Not as many Satellites up there so my reception gets dicey when the weather turns to crap. Otherwise it seems to be good. When the weather warms up, I'll relocate the Sat Radio antenna outside up high. Ken
  3. That sounds like it's part of the Windows CE file and I have to do a downlaod. I was hoping to not become a hacker.... Ken
  4. Is it possible to back up GPS Favorites and Radio Presets without downloading the whole operating system to an SD or USB Card? Thanks, Ken
  5. I did the original install on my AVIC 700 and everything worked fine...GPS, Rear Camera, Video In from Rear DVD Player, AM/FM, CD Player....It all works great. The easiest part of this install was the Sirius. Plugged in the pioneer controller ran power and ground to it, plugged in the sirius to that and ran the antenna. I've got a signal, can see the channels, and received the update on the radio after I activated it. Basicallly everything but sound. I hit the reset button on the Avic, still no sound from sirius. What did I miss?
  6. I just bought a 700 and it does not even have the pink wire to hook up the VSS. The build date on the unit is June 2008. I guess they figured out they didn't need it on the 700. Ken
