it works!! i formatted the right drive and then whilst search not in the troubleshooting forum but in the mods forum i found a link to a torrent of the files. dl'ed them and installed today with great success.

so i been fiddling around with no luck. ive hit the wall of IDGAF! so im just going to try one of them. worse comes to worse i brick it, pull it out and put my old deck back in for a couple months until i have the cash for a 930bt. i search the forums daily and cant find anything that helps. everything i find skips the explanation of the step im stuck on and noone really seems to be in here anymore. so here goes nothing...

so i found out how to format it by playing around on the unit but there is 4 listed drives available for formating. can anyone tell me which one it is.

so my f90bt started doing the reboot problem i went into test mode and looked at the igo folder and everything was corrupted. i tried to delete and reinstall but the files wont delete and i cant copy new files in either. im at an impass. i cant find anything on how to actually reformat my flash disk. can someone please help me!!

ok that is a big help so now i know i have the wrong testmode... where can i get the new one? i looked around but all i can find is the original testmode. Thanks again for your help

ok update, i tried putting movies and a new splash screen on the sd card and it worked just fine, so its not reading the test mode files... theres nothing wrong with the files because i used them before on previous versions.

Ok so i searched the forums and google and couldnt really find what i was looking for. I just updated to 3.0 and i want to do the software bypass for the park brake. Ive done this to my earlier versions so i know how to do it but i cant get it to go into testmode. I put the test mode and miticap folders onto my sd and plugged it in and turned it on.... normal start up... is the a probelm reading the SD card? or am i supposed to be using a different version of the test mode file with 3.0? im pretty newb-ish with this so my troubleshooting skills for this suck. Any help at all would be appreci

what do you have your "av 2 setting" set to?

ok so im really unfamiliar with windows CE and the general IGO setup but i was wondering if there was any disk cleanup tools (disk defrag, etc...)in windows CE. If there is would they possibly work to help correct some of these problems were having or would they just brick your deck. any thoughts?

so i intalled today. seems pretty good so far. avent actully driven yet, so i dont know if i lost my park brake bypass mod or not. if i did can i use the old file or do i have to redo everything allover again?

so i think i basically understand what to do here but 2 questions... 1) i only need to edit the file data.zip right? so i only need to copy that one over? and i should leave test mode folder on the card during all this right? 2) how do i get it to go back to being a stereo again? just take the card out?
