So wierd thing is avics running fine turn my car off and the deck desides not to hide. turn the car back on nothing no lights all dead. My first thought was that I blew a fuse, so i have tried all the main fuses in my fuse box, to no avail and about 5 mins ago i ripped out the headunit and replaced the 10amp fuse for that. Any ideas? if my brain dies would it also kill the head unit? Im assuming im lucky and the brain decided to pass away lol.

Hey camel I think he wasnt referring more so to a bunk copy but more to the functionality of the upgrade. I just noticed in my area that when I upgraded my n3 which was running n1 software at the time I lost a lot of nav points and was wondering if this seems to be the concenses with the new 80 discs or if they havedropped alot of smaller town areas as they did before?

also i think the game alert thing can be used by going to the adv screen and hitting functions 3 and 4 somthing along those lines it should be in the manual.

actually that was another question i had with my dads avh5500 i think it is something like that you could watch a dvd and have xm work is it possible to multitask with the n3 i think it might have had something to do with my brother installing a backup camara to it allowing it to be tricked but im not sure anyone have any ideas? or am i just barking up a tree?

yes im running the n1 software in my n3 because the mapping is more accurate for somereason where i live with the n1 software. the catch is that if you ever put the n2 or n3 disk in you cant go back to the n1 software or so ive heard (but its from someone who installs them for a living.)

ive been trying to figure it out on my n3 but can you even set song memos with the siruis tuner becuase it says for xm you should just hit the memo button but nothingn happens.
