i am on a factory honda civic 1998 i dont think there are any amps because i had an n1 and installed with no problem my eq is factory setting as well.thanks for the input

ok i have a avic n3 and i had the volume at about 34 and all the sudden the sound got distorted i turned the level down to about 27 and it went away if i turn it up it comes back.Anyone had this problem before and is there a fix for it

Well i determined that my mechanism is bent in my n3.I need to find a place that sells them for a decent price i have seen them for around 330.00 but no better.Is that going to be the going rate or can i get a better price?

so no way for a diy repair that u know of? and thanks for the chime in

Hello all, I am new to the forum but not to the pioneer avic series.This is my 3rd unit i have had 2 avic-n1 and just picked up this unit the n3.My problem is when the unit boots up there is a disc in the drive that will not eject and gives a read error caption on bottom of screen.Any info on a possible diy fix or maybe as simple as a hard reset of some sort would be greatly appreciated. thanks james p.s searched the topic and every search comes up with same results
