  1. my headunit came with 2.0 already installed. Is there a confirmation that you've reached the destination? I thought seeing the checkered flag meant you got there... does the voice actually say "You have arrived at your destination" etc?
  2. Not sure if this was addressed already... when I put in a destination, once I get there, shut the car off and go inside etc... i come back to the car, get in and drive off, and it's telling me directions as if I still have yet to get where it was I was going in the first place. Seems like when you arrive at your destination the system doesn't recognize that... and I have to manually go in and delete the current route. Annoying! Is this something Pioneer is aware of and possibly fixing in the forseeable future? Any idea of the possibility of a 2.1 software update on the horizon?
  3. Anyone done a comparison of the Pioneer AVICF-700BT vs the Kenwood 5120? I'm not convinced the Pioneer is right for me... I have the 700bt in my 09 Subaru Impreza, and it seems quite buggy. I'm considering going to the Kenwood instead, I've always been a Kenwood guy and figured I'd try the Pioneer since some friends of mine swear by Pioneer's head units, and the price was right. With my 700bt... - iPod loses connection with head unit, have to shut car off and start car again in order to get iPod seen. - Nav map locks up occasionally, have to shut car off and restart to regain control.
  4. I had an AVIC-F700BT installed last week, and iPod cable, when it works it's really great. For some reason, it sometimes will spontaneously lose connection with the iPod and the only way to get it back is to shut my car off and turn it on again, forcing the head unit to reboot. I'm not fully convinced I love this head unit - I might return it if my installer place can accomodate me, I might move to the Kenwood 5120, anyone have any thoughts on that vs the 700bt? Voice control of my iPod is not required but a nice thing. Navigation and Bluetooth are the most important... heard Kenwood's BT
  5. I am having similar issues... I have to shut my car off then start it again, but have the iPod connected and when it comes back up it seems to work - but really irritating. I had mine installed about a week ago, I'm still not 100% sure I want to keep it...
