  1. If you load different mods is it the same? That's a good idea, but I'll have to try it out later. Too many deadlines with work right now... aa
  2. Can you try reloading the speedcamera files? The spud file (etc) and let me know if that fixes it? I am really not seeing this. Ok, did that, and still not right. I dunno, maybe it's just the cameras around here. I haven't gone too far from here for a while. Next week I'll be going on a trip, so I'll check it then. I took some pics of where a couple of them are, but they're not very good. I'll try later with some more pics. Andy
  3. That last post may not be that clear. On the speed cameras, I mean they are not accurate (not turned off). And being able to search, etc, works on both the MSN and non-MSN version for me, just the same. aa
  4. Agreed. Was not able to get out to test the MSN version today, Alex. Hopefully someone else was able too. I just got back from my little trip with MSN version. It all seems to work the same. Cameras are still off, but I was able to mess with routing, etc, while driving. Andy
  5. Device ID in sys.txt Rob/Andy- Are you using the ezrider that is modded for elevation or the standard ezrider or standard hacked ezrider? Can you try the MSN version and see if it fixes either of these things? I am wondering if something went screwy in the zipping process. It has happened before. Thanks, Alex I'm using the ezrider that was hacked for elevation and for maps. However, the cameras were off before I put that on. I did get the MSN version on, but haven't gone anywhere yet. I'll be going out in a couple of hours so will see how that works. Andy
  6. Can you verify two things? 1. Testmode is off 2. Sys.txt is set correctly Also, are you using the non-msn version? Non-msn version. Testmode is off. What should I check in sys.txt? aa
  7. Just chiming in as a 700 owner. It's working fine for me (except one thing I'll mention below). I can do anything while driving, no white spaces. For my system, I did put the "pre-release" 3.0 on. I have since purchased the Pioneer version but have not put it on yet. Just not sure I want to take a chance on messing with things, since it is working now. The one thing that I have noticed, as someone else said, is that the speed cameras are a ways off. From the looks of it so far, they are all to the east of where they should be. Several hundred yards, putting some of them in unl
  8. Yep, you just need to make sure you have the modded ezrider.exe in the first post. Yeah, I put that on when you directed me to that thread. I've got the new maps and everything and they all work great. Andy
  9. ah, that's nice on the elevation. I'll even have occasion to get over 13,000 once in a while. Nice on the graphics, too. Andy
  10. Hey Alex, Thanks, things really look great. On the elevation, yes, the 4 digit elevation fits in there a lot better now. So, next... sometimes I go up I-70 to Eisenhower tunnel, and it's over 11,000 feet there... just kidding. I did notice one thing on the transparent graphics for the mute and route cancel icons. They're not transparent for the first 10 seconds or so, then they turn transparent. And occasionally when pushing buttons, they'll turn not transparent again, then turn back again. Could be other icons as well, but I noticed those. Or maybe that's a feature. Andy
  11. The instructions are the same. But yes, either will work on the 700. I have the 700, just do what the first post says.
  12. Yeah, if you use .NET, you'll have to use the Framework. You'll probably have to use an older dev tool like Visual Studio 6 or maybe even embedded VB.
  13. I put your ezrider in my unit and it worked great. It shows up as "5931 ft" for me. Is this ezrider the hacked one for putting on new maps? I wanted to put those on as well. Thanks for the ezrider and elevation change. Andy Nice! yes this is the hacked ezrider.exe so it will work fine with the mods including maps. Outstanding. Hopefully the new maps will go as smoothly. Thanks again.
  14. Is your elevation above 1 mile? If you're below one mile it will be in feet, but above one mile it either shows as 1.2 miles or 1 mile 600 ft (for example), depending on the mod. That's the normal display, but some have been working on getting it to be "5800 ft" even if you're above one mile. But let us know.
  15. I put your ezrider in my unit and it worked great. It shows up as "5931 ft" for me. Is this ezrider the hacked one for putting on new maps? I wanted to put those on as well. Thanks for the ezrider and elevation change. Andy
