  1. Crutchfiled just ordered a big quantity, but make sure you specify the new version. I assume most dealers will try to move old stock first.
  2. The part is now shipping and has been for a couple of weeks. The version number is 1.6.7
  3. FYI, the SWI-JACK is not the correct part for a 700BT.
  4. I've actually sent 2 emails to the department. no technical response received Just a friendly sales guy saying he reads the tech department's emails? I will get an answer for you or you can call our tech department, that would be faster. 800-854-3133 press 3 for tech.
  5. Is Best Buy an authorized dealer? They have them for $47.99. I just saw that. Im not sure who they buy from, but it looks like a online price only so im guessing any return issues might be a little bit of a hassle. You can buy where ever you want, but just make sure you get a 1 warranty like our dealers offer.
  6. Didnt you already send a e-mail to our tech department???
  7. The only difference is the blue tooth feature was added to intitiate/end a call. Any voice recognition is dependent on the head unit. It will now also work with the AVH models.
  8. I do have the new version number. Its 1.6.7, but dont look for it on the shelf till the old version is sold outm so maybe March??? Dont kill the messenger
  9. I dont have that information yet, but i will post it up as soon as i get it
  10. there wont be any visible signs of being the newer part except for a revision number. The other problem is that most dealers will sell through their old stock before ordering or stocking the new revision
  11. We should be recieving them any day now, waiting for packaging and header cards
  12. Your best bet is to use this part to add an amp. This is a plug and playconverter for the Fords. P/N AOEM-FRD24. I have it on my Shaker 1000 added a 12" Orion sub in the spare tire well and removed the fatory 10's.
  13. To clarify, the SWI-PS will do presets(but not on the AVIC-F's). The new Pioneer is the problem. There is no other steering wheel control on the market that will control presets with the new F series.
  14. I just checked with our engineering department. The buletooth fuction will only be used to answer/end calls. There will be no voice function as far as we know. Again, our part will only do so much.Pionner hasnt been to easy to want to make changes based on all of the complaints.
  15. You shouldnt have wasted your money on the Shaker 1000 subs. They are a waste of money.I pulled mine out. You will get more bass from your system if you put your door subs on a better amp.My door subs hit harder then the 10 in the trunk. Check for the wiring in the right corner of your trunk.
  16. They will not work.period. Everybody please understand, PAC does only what it can with what is given to work with.Pioneer changed the inputs to the wired remote input on the rear of the radio. There is NOTHING that can be done on our side about that.
  17. So everybody knows, we, PAC, have did our best to remedy most of the concerns of the SWI-PS. Unfortunately the preset signal is no longer sent to the wired remote input, so there is no fix for that. As far as the delay, if anybody understands how this part works, it has to recieve and change the input signal to a useable data signal accepted by the Pioneer.Somethings cannot be changed on our end and we do the best we can. Fo those that are complaining about spending $50 on this part, you are probably not buying form a authorized dealer since this part retails for $89.99.Most of those sales
  18. unfortunately, there is no "upgrade" or "reprogrammng" available. This is not my decision, so dont flame me I would say, for those that have a "defective" unit and bought through a reputable dealer and not some ebay whorehouse, they should return it for a replacement, thats just what i'd do. anybody understand that
  19. Unfortunately, i have some bad news.We just got word that Pioneer, is NOT going to change the way their input works, meaning that the presets will not work, period. The only change between the current SWI-PS and the soon to be released SWI-PS is going to be the addition of Pioneer Bluetooth commands for answer call, end call and phone status. Sorry guys, we tried.
  20. Thanks for all the feedback. Im trying to compile a list of repetative issues so my engineering department knows whats working and whats not. As far as the delay, that is the nature of the part becasue we are converting the data from the button to a useable input to the radio. My suggestion is to press the button and hold for at least 1 second.I know this is not how the factory control worked, but its the only way.All products on the market will work the same, since we private label with iot being our patent. We already know of the presets not working and being intermittent, is there an
  21. We (PAC) are trying to get feedback on the incompatibility issues right now.WE know it not to be 100% compatible at this time, meaning it will not do the presets. We are hearing that it does work.Im assuming the people that say it does work, their cars arent equipt with presets on the steering wheel. If you having problems please let me know the vehicle year and what its not doing. FYI, we are releasing a new revision, sometime after CES, so i suggest not buying the new SWI-PS till then if you are having problems. The piece will also retain factory bluetooth if equipt. Mario Sal
