I just finished looking at the searchable threads and came up with nothing, so here I am. I've got an 05 Mustang that had a Shaker 500 sound system in it. The car now has a Z1 in it with the factory 8" subs and 5x8's in the door, along with Kicker 5x8's in the rear deck. I just picked up a shaker 1000 sub setup, along with the amps, and I'm curious as to what it'll take to hook these up. If anyone has some information or a source for the wiring I need to work out, I'd like to hook them up asap. Thanks in advance and happy new year. Alan

I'm having a similar issue. Mine came with the car and was working perfectly fine one day and got a little nutty the next. It's pissing me off because sometimes I can drive for 20 minutes before it'll even start to figure itself out and display the right location.

I've got the TV tuner in my car. I hate to say it, but it's completely worthless. Seriously, when are you ever in your car long enough to watch an entire tv show? If you're in the car that long, why not just go inside and watch tv? I'm curious about the digital converter. Anyone have a link to the setup and necessary equipment?

I'm having the same issue. It was working just fine a few days ago. (As far as I know.) This thing is getting to be a pain.

I spent a bunch of time this afternoon trying to figure out some issues with my Z1. First, my XM keeps telling me to check the antenna so I ordered a new antenna. 25 bucks later I'm still getting the same message even though it says "signal strength: high." It's a little annoying. I'm also suddenly having trouble with the speed sensor wire. It was working fine, but now it's not working at all. The nav can take a few MILES before it figures out where it is. Finally, the ebrake constantly shows "on." Could that be causing my issues with the nav taking a few miles to figure it

I've got an AVIC Z1 in my Mustang and had this problem. It turned out I had the in and out wires reversed. It's worth looking at.

I've been trying to figure out what's up with my XM tuner. It keeps telling me "check antenna" but it's properly plugged in and appears to be funcitoning properly. Anyone have an idea as to what I'm doing wrong? Also, I get a loud popping sound when I shut the car off. Any fix to stop it from happening? Thanks guys, Alan
