  1. Wow, I wish I had nothing better to do with my time! Guess maybe it's time to revoke their membership?
  2. I've gotten four spam PM messages in the last two weeks. Any chance of implementing a type of security code before a user can join, or before they can send a PM?
  3. I don't see how my response is being a smart aleck. I'm just saying use the search function. That's why it's there.
  4. Not so elusive if you use the search function... viewtopic.php?f=21&t=99
  5. If you want a full disc with POI's etc, then yes, you need to burn on a dual layer disc. If you're not interested in the POI's, then strip them out according to the instructions and burn on a single layer disc.
  6. Well you know that saying: shit happens! It looks like you've got everything working now. I'll still throw these up to a newsgroup if someone wants to get them that way.
  7. The links work, but nothing is downloaded. Firefox closes the download box right away, and 0kb is the file size of the download.
  8. I can post this on a newsgroup if there's enough interest.
  9. No problem. Took just under an hour to get via FTP. Thanks again!
  10. Thanks, but the link still gives me the same error. I'm grabbing it via FTP right now though so I'm good (don't know about others though).
  11. Outstanding! I lost my previous files due to a reinstall of Windoze, and just came here to look for a link. I'm grabbing the east disc now (btw, I got an error that the directory didn't exist when I tried to d/l the west coast disc). Thanks again!
  12. I too am waiting for the east coast disc, but until then I'm happy to help seed/post the west coast disc. When the disc we need is available, I'm sure we'll see it. Until then let's be happy with what we've got and let it go.
  13. The full iso version has been posted to alt.binaries.windows. Here's an nzb for it. CNDV80MTWest-iso.zip
  14. I will be posting the iso version of this to alt.binaries.windows within the next day or so. Pars will not be included, but a 10% recovery record will be built into the rar file.
  15. Sorry, I didn't even think about pars. I'll get some posted a little later.
  16. Here's an NZB for my post. CDNV80-MTWest.zip
  17. The west disc is being posted to alt.binaries.windows as we speak (I chose that over warez because it's a much less used group). It's going up in sections of 200 each (953 sections total).
  18. For the Usenet junkies out there, I'll upload this to alt.binaries.warez this weekend.
  19. I loaded 32 images into the folder when I burned it, and only 17 (plus the "return to original" link) are available to select from. That makes 18 total.
  20. Took a while, but here it is. Not a bad looking unit really... http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Diesel-Audio-1- ... dZViewItem
  21. OK, since I seem to be the only one replying to my post, here's an update: You can fit a total of 17 custom images on the disc. You have to delete images Aurora, Sky and Water from the PIMANIM2 folder, otherwise they get dumped into the PIM2DIN folder. Doing that leaves the default "return to original" link, but then room for 17 other images. As far as my other post about the quality, it must have been an issue on my end. After a reboot, both PIMview and PIMManager are working great at creating PIM files from JPG's.
  22. Well, it's in and running, but not the way it was intended to. For the life of me I could not get it to work going through the IP bus, so it's connected to the aux input and I use the remote that came with it to control the DVD changer. Calling Valor to help was like asking a newborn to not crap their Pampers: totally useless. I might revisit it again now that it's nicer out, and the garage isn't so damn cold, but it works as is so maybe not.
  23. OK, so I loaded 20+ images into the folder and burned a new DVD. Only 18 of them show up on the D1, but now I have a new question: of the images I burned, the majority of them are extremely transparent. In fact, I can see the last viewed map image underneath the picture. If I switch to map view again, it changes to match the last map view. I've never run into this before, and most of the images I converted to PIM from JPG should have worked fine. Any thoughts?
  24. I would like to have 12+ custom background images in the PIM2DIN folder. Has anybody experimented to see if there is a limit to the number of images you can use on the D1?
  25. Thanks, that helps quite a bit. After more Googling, I found this: http://high-com.dk/shop/default.asp?Pro ... 0&SetLng=1 I'm waiting to see if they ship to the U.S. or not.
