I wanna bring this back up because i want this feature too, been having trouble trying to make the screen go completely black. Like the music bar on the bottom and the info on the side. *edit* i given up on this... and besides, it doesnt turn off the screen. its a black picture that pops up but the blacklighting is still there. kind of defeats the purpose.

hahaha well pointed out. maybe thats why i changed everything to red in my Toyota Corolla. ill be working on blue next, since the grammer is all done and down, i might be able to zip through it all quickly.

As for you... i was thinking about a green, but there is little demand for it. and the pain that this takes to do... lol I will have to think about it or be persuaded. I think your Data.zip might be might my next project. I plan on several changes that i noticed on your screen shots. i wanna make your warning cameras (big red sign) semi- transparent. current one blocks out a little too much. possibly your play, pause, fast forward, and reverse more transparent too. then integrate my latest red theme (includes navi [data.zip] menus and av screens [image.res])

yeah, thats a good piece of code, maybe i can use that but i can fix this too by simply duplicating the pictures since there are 2 sets, one for UK and US (same thing too). But the problem here is that many people on the forums here cannot. They just want a simple data zip to c/p. but its funny no one pointed this out... after 22 pages of comments. GTIMATT, I think i have found some errors with your DATA.zip that might alienate your file from US users. I am surprised that no one pointed this out. I noticed that UK and US uses different bmps to display boxes... so your blue boxes does not display to match. I noticed this when I installed your very first data.zip but it didnt bother me because i changed them all to red anyways. If your talking about the black screen that comes up when you make a call then yes... its possible in a way... I changed that box to a puffy grey box but i have been thinking about making it transparent lately. while it would show up more info, im scared that it would make the screen look too cluttered. i might give this a try.

Ha you got me. Took me almost a week to find this guy, its because it was a looong strip arrows that i missed and not single. and your right thats the one... as for the small ones, they are the same file. the system resized them i think.

Yeah, use blue on page 3. thats all you need. Then on your SD card... your gonna need 2 files to boot into WINDOWS. Copy the image from your SD card and then go to APL>>>paste image here easy.

Nothing has really changed from the pictures on page 1. The clock isn't any bigger than it is there. but now its in a separate box correct? cause from your first mod, i made a red theme for it but with the new set, i dont have the clock box prepared for it thats all. I was wondering where it would be or what it may look like so i can get working on that too. (lost my previous color formulas)

You are gonna need the lastest RES file either blue or red (this will replace everything in Contacts and and AV source). the file should read image zip. After you get it to boot up to windows, copy the image file and to go APL >>> and drop it in there. remember to back up your avic unit if you want to go back to the stock look. I have the back ups too.

Ha! maybe... but its a little harder to do (if you dont know how to copy and paste!). im currently testing it but its about 95% done. i love it since its a matching set. and this changes the mood and color of the whole unit. its not like little icon changes here and there. pretty much almost EVERY screen in my navi unit has been replaced... that includes the VR screen. you guys better feel lucky, your getting priority even over my own best friend (that guy wants a custom blue )
