  1. I have a similar issue with my iPod connection to my F90BT however it doesn't occur during video play, it occurs when the song changes (normally). I talked to Pioneer about it and they suggested reseting both the iPod and the F90 (didn't work), then they said it may be the iPod connection cable since those have been known to go bad. I don't know if you've tried this, but I used my friends' iPod touch (I have a classic iPod) and it seemed to give me no problems. Although I really didn't give it enough time to test. Let me know if you find out any other solutions. Good luck!
  2. Agreed, not worth the 70 bucks if this is a software bug that can/should be fixed soon. My iPod connection is getting worse and worse, yet it picks and chooses it's days. Today was not one of its days...
  3. Is there anyone else having this issue? It's getting more frequent for me and getting a hold of pioneer is always a pain. Thanks.
  4. I have the same (an 80gb 5th gen iPod). I agree that the cables aren't the highest quality, but mine seems to try to make a connection when I put the cable into the iPod. The Pioneer screen will actually show up for a moment, then disappear, and if it doesn't connect to my F90, it will still charge. So I'm going to have to throw out the possibility of it being just the cable for mine. I think this goes a bit deeper. Appreciate the response.
  5. Hello all. I thought I'd see if anyone else was having the same problem I am. I've checked around the forum and haven't seen this exact issue but maybe i'm not looking hard enough. I have the F90BT and my iPod hooked up to it, and for the most part everything works fine, but every now and then my iPod is just not recognized. Before you say "Set your AV1 to iPod...", that's not it. Everything is hooked up how it should be because the iPod will play for hours sometimes without a problem, just recently every now and then it will shut off. Unplugging the iPod and reestablishing the connection some
  6. To make sure I understand you correctly, are you only getting sound out of the front right speaker when the iPod plays? Or when you play the radio, DVD, etc... as well?
  7. khoanga24, you got it right. Like an idiot, I forgot to plug the RCA cables back into the AVIC. All works well now. Thanks.
  8. I have read through some of the posts and seen that people have had this same issue but the resolution seems a bit wierd to me. I want to say I read the sticky to make sure my question was at least somewhat legit too. I just installed my F90BT last night and of course the F90BT comes with the CD-IU230V cable for the iPod. I've run my F90 and everything works great up until the iPod. The connection is established because my songs show up on the display and my iPod goes into "Pioneer" mode, so to speak, yet I get no sound. I've seen some replies to this problem where people suggest getting
