  1. do you have any how to info on making a branding file? i seen some of your hints on the board. thanks

  2. I have a F-700bt with an iPhone 4s running 5.0.1 and it shows the album art, fills out the track, artist & album from Pandora. Something must have happened with the new iOS that lets Pandora somehow be seen by the iPod app. What maxlax & Tenzig claim is legit I urge you to try it out yourself.
  3. Just added your mod but when I placed the 3D cars in the appropriate folder and run the system I do not see any cars listed when I enter the car changer program. Any suggestions on were I may have went wrong?
  4. Ok I will do that but this Note is what threw me off. NOTE to users, some users use gallons so here's instructions for it, this is assuming that your in testmode 1) go to MYFLASHDISK\APL2\IGO\CONTENT \Extension\Fuelcalc and delete the contents,
  5. I've loaded v5.5 onto my unit, but when I press the FuelCalc or MapChanger it states Utility is not installed or Utility is not installed. I thought I loaded the Extension folder in the proper place, MYFLASHDISK\APL2\IGO\CONTENT \, but I must be missing a step somewhere. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. The problem is you copied only the Data.zip file, you need to copy over atleast the Font file as well. You probably should just copy over all the files just to be safe.
  7. I originally had an 80gb iPod and everything worked perfectly (videos would play throughout with no crashing). With everything working properly I started to gather more movies onto the iPod which made me upgrade to a 160gb iPod. That's when the crashing 4-5 minutes into a movie started. This weekend I transfered all of my movies back to the 80gb iPod and everything worked perfectly with no crashing. So I am coming to the conclusion that it has to have something to do with the newer 120gb and 160gb iPods and the Pioneer unit because going back to the 80gb iPod made the movies that would not pla
  8. Yes. The A/V part of the AVIC, which the Image.res covers, has not changed much from 2.0 to 3.0. The only thing that will need to be fixed would be the box that comes up on the Nav screen when a phone call is in progress.
  9. I am having the same problem. I tried several ways of trying to make the Branded Poi's work but every time I get the constant reboot.
  10. I could swear the 2008.04 maps are the most recent for igo8. The 2008.10 maps are for iGo8.3, but the POI files can be used in our units.
  11. I have the 160gb as well my 80gb didnt have the problem so maybe I may try sticking that back in to play videos and see what happens. The 160gb work for a few weeks even months maybe and then starting doing the video shut off thing, so it may be the iPod.
  12. I thought I read about this once awhile ago but can't find it anymore. So I decided to post about it to get some answers. When I try to play movies on my iPod the movie plays for 1-3 minutes then shuts off. I have to unplug the iPod plug the thing back in to get recognized again then if I go back to the movie it will start where it left off but just shut off again after 1-3 minutes. I thought that since I changed my ripping software it was the source of the issues but all of the old videos that played fully through with no shut offs have the same shutting off problem. So I'm pretty much stuck
  13. I don't think it's tied to this thread. It seems like you are trying to change the AVIC POI files that are allowed to Brand and the Branding.zip file only makes .bmp's show up on AVIC POI files that they choose to allow us to Brand.
  14. It works for me as well. I even added to your branding.zip another set of POI's from someone esle and they all work.
