  1. Were you able to test the PAC unit out?
  2. I can confirm his post. I couldn't use the 1st SD Card. My guess is because I had already updated the WinCE on the device, and it was looking for the old version. As for the Update, it worked just as he said. I just have to reapply my mods to the device and I'm good as gold.
  3. Hello All, I just saw Pioneer updated my order status from Pending Shipment to "Shipped: 08/11/2009". At the time of my Order, the update cost $60 + $5 for shipping. I just checked today, $120!!!! Thats nuts! I will be getting my official update any day now. If anyone knows a good place to host the files let me know. The official name of the order: CNSD-100FM MAP update- AVIC-F90BT,-F900BT,-F700BT

Ok, So I sat down for an hour last night trying different Settings and found the solution of what settings 7-zip needs to properly recompress (zip) the folder for Image.res. Archive Format: 7z Compression Level: Fastest Compression Method: LZMA Dictionary Size: 16 MB Word size: 64 Solid Block Size: Solid The setings I had to keep tweaking were the dictinary size and the solid block size. Im not sure if the word size makes a different, but the above settings is what worked for me. I'm also including a screen capture of the window. I did notice that when you unzip the ori

    Mine isn't a Trial.

I seem to have intermittent luck. I'm using 7-Zip and use the 7z format when I rezip. Then change the extension from 7z to res. Some icons appear, others do not. Can someone tell me What settings they have on their 7zip Archiver? Here's what's set on mine... Archive format: 7z Compression Level: Normal Compression method: LZMA Dictionary Size: 16 MB Word size: 32 Solid Block Size: 16MB Encryption Method: AES-256 I've also attached a screenshot.
  7. LOL, Gotta Love the StrongBad. Haven't seen that character in a while.
  8. I downloaded the "3.0+.Files" located on ftp://buckeyecollision.us/JAFO/. I can only Assume this is the work of a certain famous modder on this forum. (Good Mods btw) I just have one small issue. When I go to the Route Screen to Change the Icon Used (Default is "CAR), I receive an error. The Error is as follows: FFUI error FFUIERROR: Unknown object identifier Identifier=[btnSV_Car] Script "st_SettingVehicle_init" command 2 Its a pop up window error. I can click OK and continue on to the intended screen. However any changes are not saved. Also of note, it happens again onc
  9. On my ipod, it does not Pause, it is only muted while it continues to play. Haven't tried it with the iPhone 3GS.
  10. I just purchased Firmware version 3.0 for $60 US. Then add $5 for UPS Ground. Thats not a bad deal when you think about it. I know my TomTom map updates were not cheap. Although, it would be nice if they at least had a free firmware option.
  11. OK, So it would appear I've lost my 2008.10 Maps completely, and I'm not sure how. I still have my 2008.04 Maps. I thought I found the maps I needed, however I found map files for iGo 8.3 and not 8.0. Tell me someone can help me out? I have the storage space, if someone could upload them there for me. Thanks.
  12. I havent had a chance to check out the system much, since I just loaded the update late last nite, and havent used it much today. I just finished downloading my 2008.10 maps (don't ask where I got them, you can google it on certain torrent sites or news servers). It could be all in my head, but it does seem that the system is a little more snappy to button presses. However, I also have cmh928's 6.6.09 mod loaded on my system. His mod is one of the best I've used so far, and I love what has been done so far. I know version 3.0 firmware is right around the corner at a cost. I beli
  13. I have no idea what would happen if you load the update on a NON-US System. However, If I were to guess, it has to do with a Map Licensing issue. The Navigation of the system on the US firmware update only has a License for US maps. If I were to guess, a person would only have to load a mod that would allow them to use any Map they wish. My suggestion is, backup your system with Testmode, and load the update. If it doesn't work, there are methods posted in these forums that describe how to revert the firmware to your previous version.
  14. Does anyone else know where I can find this? I'm trying to reload his mods again and lost the zip I had. His mods are honestly my favorite. If anyone can point me in the direction, Id appreciate it.
  15. Ok, so I took the risk and downloaded the new Firmware (2.006). It went relatively smoothly, however... It appears that my mod to enable use of 2008.10 Maps no longer works. I'm trying to search through the Forums now, but with so many posts, its hard to sort through it all, to see if there is a way to re-enable this. Since my Maps have been disabled, I'm not sure if my Mods from cmh928 are still efective. I have downloaded the new Testmode v2.3. I will be testing this out later. It's a bit late and I think my brain is fried. lol. If anyone has any suggestions, or tips, I'd
