  1. I'm not sure if it's the service that's to blame. It seems to me like its either the crappy Sirius tuner or the Pioneer bus interface. Like I said, go sit in any new Dodge with Sirius and a premium factory stereo. I know someone with a new Dodge Charger that has a boston accoustics factory system. Sirius in his car actually sounds like "CD quality" 128kbps.
  2. I've had the F90bt installed for about 6 months in my car, with the SCC1 Sirius Tuner + Pioneer CD-SB10 Sirius interface. The sound quality to me has always seemed subpar only on the Sirius. I also have HD Radio and iPOD which are both beautiful in terms of sound quality. But then when I switch on the Sirius, it seems as if the audio is terribly compressed with a low bitrate, alot of hissing occurs on high notes and lows are very muddy. I've tried making adjustments with the equalizer and other sound system settings in the radio, but it just doesn't do much to brighten up the poor quality com
  3. I tried using a regular 3.5MM male X 3.5MM male patch cable from the ipod to the aux in front jack. Didn't work, can anyone explain this?
  4. There's no reason to uzip WinRAR or WinZIP for that matter. There is an open source compression software called 7-zip. Its 100% legally free, and its much more functional that either WinRAR or WinZIP. It can handle every common compression format, along with a few others. Download it at: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html
  5. I messed up on the install of my AVIC-F90BT, I thought all I had to do for my iPod to connect was use the regular USB cable. Didn't realize the AVIC uses the audio/video input for sound from the ipod, and the usb for control. Is it possible to get the music to play via USB only? It works on a flash drive, why not the iPod? I took my time doing a nice panel-mount usb connection for the iPod, and it's useless unless I can do this.
  6. I'm trying to isolate some of the noises and rattles in my car. Part of my problem is the RCA plugs from the 90BT harness that are not being used. I'd like to remove them from the connector completely. Will this affect anything if I pull the unused RCA wires from the white harness connector that goes to the radio?
  7. Is the power and RCA output harnesses for the F90BT the same as the D3?
  8. I bought a F90BT on ebay that did not have the harnesses in the box. Where can I buy all the necessary wiring? I already haave my car's harness adapter (Metra), I just need all the wires that the F90BT normally comes with.
