  1. Take it back to the shop that installed it for you and have them hook it up correctly. I don't know what the name of the wire you need to have them change, but it's the same power wire that you use to roll the widows up until you open the door, or usually, at least mine does, it will shut after 5 minutes. I have an 06 F150 CrewCab, and mine from the factory worked that way, and after my install, it still works that way.
  2. You can edit the song while you listen to it. As long as you are not burning it or another disc, at the same time. You must have been trying to edit it while you had a CD burning.

    HD radio??

I looked at HD radio before I made my Z1 purchase, I know that Eclipse has a HD Radio box, but at $450 for a add on box, you can keep it. I will just listen to my IPOD, or XM/Sirius.
  4. I have to retract my first statement, when I select artist, it pulls up every song, and they are not in album folders if you search by artist. The only time you get album names if you are searching for a specific album, but not by artist. Why they do not allow a seperate folder per album is beyond me at this point. Not very user friendly if you want to listen to a specific album from a specific artist.
  5. You can also just change the source to FM, XM, or IPOD during the rip as well. I ususally just load the CD, and change the source while it's recording.
  6. I'd like the part number as well. I want to play video from my IPOD onto my Z1, but while charging the unit. What did you do with the TUNER? Did you hook up the IPOD as a source to view it on the TV input? I was going to just install it into the AV input, but I would prefer to use the TV Tuner input as an option.
  7. I have a few artist with multipule albums, When I do a select an artist under artist search, I get album names. When I select album, I get the songs in that album. I don't know why you can't see that.
  8. Thanks for helping me with a real solution. I will pick up the peice and try it. Thanks again.
  9. First things first. I am a Long time lurker with a question? and this website has been very helpful to me. Thanks for all the help. Is there a steering wheel adapter out there that can learn new operational codes other than the factory ones? I have a '06 Ford F150 CrewCab, and it has steering wheel controls that I want to utilize with my new Z1. Here's my idea, I have a button that does source select, it rotates between AM, FM, and AUX. The other side is a scan button. This is something that Ford changed from the previous years, it used to be a preset up button now it just scans up.
  10. swap the cables. You have them backwards
