  1. Buy XM do not buy Sirius with Pioneer. XM has great graphics and much more information as well as channel icons.
  2. I cannot verify this but I was told by a retail outlet that a Pioneer rep told them that within a few months Pioneer will release a new upgrade to the X930 upgrading it to the X940 with the exception of the andrioid compatibality. He also said the Tele-Atlas was being dumped in favor of a new better map supplier. Don't know what map supplier, but the Tele-Atlas maps are junk. Hopefully this info is correct. Of course there will be a cost, unkown what the cost is at this time,
  3. Does anyone know if the recent 3.0.1 firmware updated the XM channel logos to the most current lineup?
  4. Great update. Install went well with one problem. When I inputted the activation code I did it three times with a popup window saying an incorrect code was entered, before I realized that the calibration was off just a little on my screen. As you enter the code it only shows as ********* rather that the actual entry. Major pain in the southern regions. So before upgrading make sure your screen calibration is exactly on. If it's not and you push a letter or number key sometimes the key just below will be selected. I realized this during the entry as I watched the button as I pushed it, the
  5. I bought my F700 from 6 ave. I was nervous about what would happen if the unit took a crap. Well it did, god only knows why but the thing started speaking in what sounded like Polish, and the TTS disappeared. So I called 6 AVE and low and behold they said they would exchange it. They even emailed me a UPS prepaid label and I returned it. I had asked them if I could just unplug the head and send it back to them but they said the plugs had to be returned. So I told them it was soldered in and they said cut it out, I said OK and that's what I did. BTW, don't forget to restore any fact
  6. I just installed a Sanyo CCA-BC200. It is available on line at Walmart for 199.00 dollars. It is a slick very small camera that can be mounted anywhere. The coolest thing about this camera is that it comes with a digital module that displays three modes. normal, curvature reduced and overhead view. It has backing lines superimposed on the picture. It look and works great. Just installed it today in my Van. I have the F700, and I tied the power wire together with the backup light wire and it works in backup mode or rear view mode. Just google it and add walmart.
  7. Had a failure where the screen went black. I reset and the unit came back on with what appeared to be polish. I went into setup and put the unit into English but got no option to select what voice I wanted for navigation. Now the voice is set for English Jason and I can not figure out how to get back into Samantha (TTS). I have tried reset 1, 2 and 3 an enumerated in the manual. No joy. Does anyone know how to get back to a factory reset where when you power on it's the same as a first time startup. It seems that when you first power up you can select the voice Language. When I go into s
