  1. Thanks for the updates, so no upgraded radio interface? i.e. a clock display for the radio scree?
  2. Anyone has tried the 4.14 update yet? I wonder if it works with the DA01 unit? (last year's)? As it does not seem to have much difference with the DA02 unit. If not, anyone who has tried the new 2.56 update, what do you think? What is improved? Do we finally have a clock displayed in the other screens like the radio? This lack of a clock/time is driving me nuts. Thanks
  3. I recently returned to Pioneer (previously owned a few of the AVIC models) for our new car. Is it just me, or Pioneer had no time to plan and make sure to at least display the actual time in all of the screens? I have been looking through all sorts of menus but it seems like the unit is not capable of diplaying the time outside of the home screen (wiht the huge digits). This makes it pretty sucky when palying with the radio for example, where I have to keep switching back to the homescreen to look at the time. Anyone been able to permanently display the time in all of the screens (like on
  4. Can anyone either post or send me or point me to where I can download the 2.22 firmware update? It is not available on Pioneer's site anymore. Thanks!
  5. This happens often but I finally got around to writing about it. Does anyone also have problems with scrolling through the map with your finger? I have noticed that unless I use my pinky the map will not move (I do have relatively average hands as well)
  6. looking forward to the file becoming available, this looks good. Thanks
  7. Hey everyone, I am sure others have the same problem of trying to select a new preset station and clicking on the wrong one since the buttons/rectangles to choose them are so skinny. Wondering if there's a way to change the layout of how you pick the presets so that we can have larger buttons arranged differently so instead of having the skinny ones stacked like this |Preset 1| |Preset 2| |Preset 3| |Preset 4| |Preset 5| |Preset 6| We can have them like this | | | | |Preset 1| |Preset 2| | | | |
  8. This is what mine looks like turned off "smart zoom" so you can tilt to make it look "flat" as well as adjust the zoom. Then I changed the arrow to be much smaller (the 3D one is huge), looks classier too. This is all in 3D mode
  9. might be, I think I can do without the zooming in on turns in exchange for a non true north 2d style map I will check and discuss
  10. ^^ I tried this last night and it is still "sticking". Go to navi settings and turn off smart zoom. then adjust the tilt and it should stay
  11. Nevermind, problem solved. I just had to turn off the smart zoom feature. Now the zoom preferences are saved AND on 3D mode I can "flatten" the map by changing the tilt; it looks like the 2d map but without the cursor facing north all the time
  12. I see. What happens is that let's say you are in 3D mode and you zoom all the way out (just regular driving, no route programmed or anything) and then I go into the av source, when I hit the map button again to go back the map is not zoomed all the way out anymore, but the standard distance. Hope it makes sense
  13. Hey everyone, Looked in the manual as well as posts but could not find any info. Is there a way to "save" your zooming distance preference? Everytime I hit either the map button or restart the car the zoom level I had picked gets reset. Is this even possible?
  14. Another thing I have noticed, only in 3d mode so far, is that if you zoom out there is a "stripe/area" on the top of the screen that is just "blank" Everything else gets zoomed out except for that part
