I've been using mine in my 04 Civic for years. I just routed the cable to the glove box and hung it over the side. It's never fallen out once.

I rebuilt mine as well, and all is running great.

You don't have to unRAR all of them. Just do the first folder and it will grab all of the files from the remaining folders as well.

Does anyone know if there is a disk image of the entire 700bt hard drive out there anywhere? My unit will get to CE via testmode, but reboots after about 1 second, so I can't copy or delete any files. Without test mode, it gets to the splash screen, then reboots after about 10 seconds. I would love to just pull the drive and install a whole new image, but I can't find a disk image of the original drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Mine is doing the same thing. I had a failed upgrade attempt. Now, I can boot with the testmode card and it gets to the windows desktop. After just one or two seconds it shuts down. Without the testmode card, it shows the splash screen, then shuts down after 10 seconds or so. It never gets past that. Any thoughts on how to go about fixing it from here?

My unit is doing the same thing with killing the sound. As soon as I push the button, all sound is killed and the only way to get it back is to reboot the system. After much searching, I finally found another thread with several people compaining of the same issue. The only suggestions given were to reinstall the update software. I'm going to give it a shot, and I'll post back with the results.

I'm having the same problem now also. Did reinstalling the update work for you guys?
