Is it possible to remap buttons? My desire is to have another way to activate the voice commands. Pushing the volume button and actually activating the voice command has about a 60% accuracy rate for me. I end up zooming in or out on the map or changing the radio station. Maybe it's just my fat fingers, but it does drive me crazy. What I would LOVE to see: Remap one of the functions that are controlled through the steering wheel controller (PAC SWI-PS in my case). I would gladly give up the band, source, or mute button to make it a steering wheel controlled voice command acti

I am up and running thanks to this forum. My VCs are finally working. After doing some searching and reading after cboyd's suggestion, I found the issue with symbols (& @ ,). I deleted the symbols that were used in my phonebook and voila! Thanks!

This is great information, but I would like to add one question... I am able to load my contacts from my Blackberry 8703e, but the Voice commands do not work. Do you know what causes the VC to not function? Is there something that I can change in this database to enable VSs?

I am getting everything together to install my F700 next weekend, and have one question. I am planning on installing a backup camera, but have not purchased one yet. I have a 12v lipstick camera that I used in my racecar for incar video. It is just sitting in my garage right now, and I would like to use it if possible. Is the F700 able to reverse the image from the camera? Obviously the camera I have is not a reverse camera, therefore displaying a standard image. Basically, am I spending more money this week or not? Any help is greatly apreciated. Thanks, Shawn
