i downloaded it 2 days ago and is currenty seeding with 1.3 Mbs...havent tried to install it yet since i need european maps first...

new update: the bootloop happens when u try to install a us firmware on a european unit.(because then u dont have the correct lisence and/or maps /and/or ezrider) didnt find new ezrider so i downloaded offisial 3.something software from pioneer....this did not work:/ tried do copy over my old bacup, but since wince had been upgraded this totally bricked my unit:(((( then i finally found the european firmware v 3.0003000 or something. this one did work! however i did not contain the wince upgrade, but since i allready had it from an us version i didnt need it. now my unit works perfect, i

ok, my experiences so far: -took a bacup of everything inside the 'my flash disk' ( or whaterver it was called). couldnt find anything that looked like maps. -installed the 3.0 firmware and now i got the famous bootloop:( i think this has something to do with wrong maps and bad EZrider. couldnt find a new ezrider, but the one provided within the update claims to be a hacked one. do believe i have the right licence (worldwide something) i then deleted the maps in my new firmware and tried to replace them with some erupean maps i downloaded from som torrent site, ofcourse this didnt wr

Thank you for your reply Im still reading and trying to catch up, but now im way smarter thanks to you! I did contact Pioneer, but all they said was that the new firmware can be downloaded free of charge from their website. either he didnt understand my question about the 3.0 software or he was mistaken and believed i wanted the 2.0 one...:/ Im going to update to 3.0 no matter what. if i keep my maps, thats only a bonus:) Only thing im abit afraid of, is that when i in the future want new maps, it will be hard since there is so mutch talk about EZrider and some licence file...ho

im so sick and tired of outdated info and diy treads that are supposed to make everything easy, but allways tells me to just use the hacked EZrider or whatever so im going to ask a few simple noob quistions and hope someone will give me some short simple answers. im on a f900bt version 2.xxxxxxx euro 1. can i use the usa version to ugrade to 3.0? 2. will i lose my maps? 3. do i need to upgrade winCE beforehand? 4. what is EZrider and do i need it? 5. what is iGo and do i need it? Yes or no answers will be just fine for me, exept on qestion 4 and 5

both yes and no! the pioneer guy probably meant that TTS isn't available in norwegian. i changed the language, and voila! it worked. to bad about the bt audio then.... is it possible with a hack/mod then?

Mabe a noob question, but i asked pioneer and they said TTS and BT audio isn't possible on f900 bt....are they correct?
