My concerns were. -old mapping on gps software -poor install documentation -FM reception is a failure The dude calls me and has a poor attitude. My positition is sorry just sent 3 emails and a letter to get a contact after spending about a grand for this unit. Help Me! His answer... If you have a chime module there is a screw that allows adjusting volume of the audible. On my 06 H3 with peripheral adapter the chime mod has a small screw that allows this feature.

Wound up useing black velcro tape m/f and black duct tape to make a cover that blacks it out in danger zones. Spends other time is glove box!

I agree. Added to this using a plastic stick or a orange stick to pry the top will help the retaining clips to release this surround...

Wound up using the part from the back up camera kit. Cut the double angle rubber grommet in half. Used that for a wedge and worked like a charm to level and stablize the unit in the holder.

Anyone have a trick for shimming up the D2. One side is getting lower then the other. Reluctant to pull it out. Looking for a tip on something to prop up one side slightly...

It was in the a pillar brown wire. Thought could not get it but the camera was not on in s/w. Thanks for the tip!

The Periperal interface recieved GMH24 turned out didnt have a bridge across power leads. Once they sent me the correct one (with the jumper) no mod to the GM side of the connector was needed. Thanks for the tips!

Not the face. The entire head unit. When trying to reinsert it got stuck where side brackets hit holder frame. GM H3 Hummer.

Whats a good trick to keep the head unit from getting stuck. Whenever I pull it back from the holder for servicing. It sticks on both sides when trying to slide back in. Any suggestions?

Thanks for that I just bridged them all and my H3 was dead. Thought maybe its shorted. Probably a dead battery from working it all day!

Want to pig tail all my 12 volt connections to constant aux power. Can this be done and have the avic work basicaly?
