I just pulled it apart and everything is done right. I even cut it and re-grounded it elsewhere. Same thing. The unit has 2.0 update. It's in a 2005 ford f-350. I am at a loss here. Any other ideas? Even if I press the parking brake down a bit it still turns off video at 16k. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for pointing out the fact it has been covered many times, but they said they did move the mute wire and ground it. Any one else? Yes.. they didn't do it correctly, this one isn't rocket science at this point. Alright. Thanks Diane. If there is nothing else it could be then I will just pull it appart myself and see what is going on. Thanks for your help.

I am using the stock Pioneer cable with my iPhone and it works flawlessly. Why buy something you don't have to?

They grounded the parking brake wire, but they didn't move the mute wire to the correct pin and ground it. Covered several times now. Thanks for pointing out the fact it has been covered many times, but they said they did move the mute wire and ground it. Any one else?

I have a new unit with 2.0 update and also using an iPhone. I have not experienced any of the problems you list. Don't know if that helps you or makes it worse?

I had this done at an install shop on my 2005 ford f-350. They say they have done lots and never had a problem. However, I get a message saying improper connection of parking brake lead. Then I get the viewing of video source while driving is strictly prohibited. I even went back and had it checked over. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. They actually offered the bypass to me right away. Didn't even have to ask. They must have done something wrong though. I get a screen first saying improper parking brake lead I think? They did talk about moving the mute wire. I take it back in tomorrow.

Well I have read alot of stuff and it appears that with the hardwire bypass no software bypass is necessary. If that is correct I guess I will have to head back to the installers.

I just got my F90Bt installed in my 05 f-350 . Bluetooth has been trouble free so far with my iPhone.

I have a 05 F-350. It has a compartment by my right knee that I plug in my Iphone. Glove box would be too far for the phone because I take it out everytime obviously. Works good where it is.

Just got my F90BT installed! Looks good. Iphone was easy to pair.Transferred contacts easily.Activated XM, all good. The installers did the bypass, but driving home I turned on Batman from the Iphone and it started to play but then a screen came up and said I can't do that while in Motion....Guess maybe I still have to do software bypass too? Any thoughts? That's all I have really had time to play with. So far I like the Unit!
