Are you sure that the AC vents aren't pointing in the mic's direction???? Soooo many people do this.... seriously!!!!<---My wife included<-- I constantly have to tell her to redirect her A/C vents in her BMW E70 X5(factory stuff) Positive. They can't even direct at the mic. Plus for humor today during a bad call I tried turning off the ac and no difference. 9 outta 10 calls are perfect. Just every so often a crap call.

I had an f90bt in my f-350. People couldn't even tell I was on handsfree. Just installed x910 in my volvo xc90 and people complained about the sound, and not hearing me/breaking up. I figured maybe cabin design and mic being closer due to smaller cabin. possibly more speaker feedback. I took some foam from the bottom of my iPhone box and zip tied it around the mic. So far all calls have had no complaints. If it continues for another couple days I will do a more permanent foam cover solution. Just passing it on in case someone else wants to try and give their results.

I just put an x910 in a black 04 volvo xc90. My kids call it the black window. Any creative people want to make me a splash that has some sort of cool looking black widow and volvo combo? Also like the radio's features shown. Whatver though. Thanks.

I have a compustar remote starter/alarm on my diesel truck. I don't have any issues with freezing bootups when remote starting. Alot of technical info in this thread!

I'm confused. I've used multiple rars before with no problem. I open the first one, put in the password and it starts extracting 1-73 I think? gets to kentucky(50 something) asks for password again, I enter it again and it just keeps wanting it, says it is wrong.....WTF? All zipped rars are in the same folder, I've tried extracting in the same folder and to a different folder. Any help appreciated.

You just copy and paste from your SD card.Takes next to no time. Sweet, thanks. Last file downloading....Can't wait to see if my street is on the new maps!!

One more question, How long does it take to upload new maps onto the unit?

I tried one of the links and it was a no go. Are the maps still available? Is there somewhere else to get them? (free of course).

When I did mine I went crazy trying to figure out why it didn't work. The wire I had moved was not making enough contact. Try giving the end a little squeeze with some pliers to tighten it's contact with the pin.

Thanks for the informative post. I will keep an eye on it and if I figure anything out post my findings.
