  1. Confirmed here as well, the album art is very nice now. However, and it just may be me, when I want to scroll up and down on the artist or album tab it is very slow. Also, say I want to go to the artist that start with an "R" I would click the alphabet list over to "R" and click it, then it would go directly to the R's. That no longer works after the upgrade.
  2. I used a wire harness for toyota that i got a walmart so i am assuming It is connected correctly. I will have to pull it apart and check it out, uggh.
  3. Spoke to soon. Disabling bluetooth didnt work. It is still locking up randomly on remote starts.
  4. Ok, i disabled the bluetooth and after a few test it has not locked up. I will try it a few more times with it disabled. I currently have: Version: HW100-SW330 RC3 f700bt I might try the version HW100-SW290 RC3 later and see if i get any better results
  5. Yep, when i turn the key to acc and wait a few seconds then start the radio losses power until it starts and most of the time the screen is unresponsive.
  6. Same issue here with a toyota tundra. Using the remote start most of the time the radio comes up with an unresponsive touch screen. Anyone ever find a fix?
  7. Yikes installing the battery is a bit of over kill i think. To answer dugthug normal starts (nonremote starts) work fine everytime. I was hoping there was a hack that would just pause the boot up on the radio by about 5 seconds. But I will be researching the battery option. Also is there a way to reboot it without hitting the reset?
  8. Question for anyone with a remote start. I have a remote start on my Toyota Tundra. When I hit the remote start, it basically clicks the ignition (ACC) on for about 4 seconds then turns the truck on. For some reason when this happens about every 4 or 5 times i use the remote start it hangs my AVIC F700BT to where the touch screen does not work. I either have to hit the reset button (clearing all my settings) or turn the truck of and back on. Is there a boot wait option or a fix. Anyone else having this issue?
  9. Great thread! Just what I needed. Thanks!
  10. What instructions do you want? That is all there is to it. Copy over the ezrider, the license file and some maps you want to use. Thats it. Of course you have to update your whole system to 3.xxxx before doing that. But that is explained again and again in various threads here. -C Right, but I see several versions, which do I use, where do i get the right maps what folder do i copy them to?
  11. So is there a set of instructions on how to update to the latest maps besides google the maps and copy over ezrider or read the sticky thread (dont see it there either)?
  12. I am looking to add steering wheel control to my car (doesn't have an existing one). I see the CD-SR11 on pioneers site but it doesn't say it will work with the f700bt. Does anyone have any suggestion for adding one to a car that does not have steering wheel controls?
  13. Thanks for the help. I just ordered 3.0. Guess I'll just wait and hope that fixes it.
  14. Well i gave it a try and deleted all the TTS files in testmode and tried to reload it like the update and still no go. When i booted back into testmode all the files i deleted were back (before i even tried to install). Samantha shows up when i go to setup (where i updated it via the sd card) but its not one of the main choices after it tried to install.
  15. I have a f700bt that is fully updated to the latest levels yet the Samantha voice is missing from the options. I have never had the option to choose her. When i look at the options there are a bunch in other languages (a lot repeated). I have also tried to update it via a SD card but it does not work. Any ideas to get it back?
