Well start off with the purple wire that has the fuse attached, that goes to 12v switched, the black obviously is ground, use version 1, use the green wire for the SWC. the white, orange, yellow and blue wires arent used. Take connector 1 terminal 11 (blue wire) the factory harness, cut that wire and attach the green wire to it. Once that is done take connector 2 of the factory harness and locate term 14, white wire w/ black tracer, cut that wire and attach it to 12v switched. And thats it, once you get the wiring hooked up you need to program the unit. If you need help with that just pm me an

Ok yeah I know my battery in th eipod has been somewhat low lately so Ill charge it up and see if that helps, Thank you for the advice, I kinda had a feeling this wasnt a normal thing.

I just installed the F700BT last week and my question is, when I start my car up the uni boots up, itll go to the last thing I was listening to, in this case, XM. A couple seconds later it will automatically switch to Ipod by itself. Is this normal or is there something I need to do to stop this from happening. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I agree with camel towing.......I had the same problem with my F700, and foundout that my AV1 was set to off. Once I set it to Ipod it worked great.
