ok, i tried it out and it does work as advertised lol so i want to thank you because that was always one thing i hated about these avics.

So far looks like only a handful have it going. hmm.. havent really tried it out but im running 3.01 with the android2000 or whatever data.zip and everything just so you know what im running.. ill try it right now and ill let ya know if it works when i get back home from work.. i did change what she says from route reclalculation though and that works.. its pretty funny

where exactly is this file located? and when you say comment the text out, do you mean delete it and overwrite it?

Absolutely. Just add what I posted above. Try it and let us know. Yes...finally. Works like a charm. I even edited what Samantha says when I go the wrong way. Instead of "route recalculation" I tell her to say "screw you, I am going this way". I have to keep it clean for when my kids are in the car..lol Great work and thanks a bunch. Chalk another one up for the fine people on this thread!! where did you change what she says when she says route recalculation? i looked at the command.csv file for samantha and i couldnt find anything..

im having an issue with my navi with this mod, i downloaded everything you had a link too and i was using the 3.01 FW.. when im listening to my SD card music and i have it on the map, it lags like crazy.. especially trying to go to a diff song.. so for it to work properly, i have to press the menu button.. im guessing its something to do with the map screen itself? any ideas?

i dont know how you guys are getting this to work lol.. ive followed the directions and i cant get past the system startup screen, i added the extra lines in the sys.txt also but still no dice. im trying to run this on an f90 bt with the 3.1 fw

yeah man, i tried deleting my flash disk and rewriting it and i did everything over again and i still get that error : ( if it matters, i do change the brake speed from 16 to 256 because i use the software bypass..

could you try downloading the file again and load it to your avic, ad also could you explain to me how that error mesage appears (did hit any buttons before it appeared, ets) ok, ill try it again tomorrow. but it does it only once and thats when the avic first starts up. it doesnt do it until i hit the map button, and then if i tap the little ok button, it seems to work ok.. but i dont know what that error is for or what it means

you can program the mute button to work on the f90bt correct? just curious because i couldnt figure out how to wire it in correctly so i had a stereo place do it.. everything works how it should besides the mute button. so i want to make sure the f90 supports mute if i press it on my steering wheel.. thanks

thanks for the replies.. im going to check everything out again to make sure it all looks good.. it seems as the gps works when it wants to.. it worked for a little bit yesterday and not at all today.. i honestly dont know whats going on with it

lol i swear to god i did the bypass right.. it just started showing me that warning screen and it only does it once in awhile.. its weird. but about the gps reception.. why wouldnt it work now when it was working perfectly before? i dont get that..

i did.. like i said before, i never had a problem with my unit getting a good gps signal and also, i did re-do the software part of the bypass and it still shows me that message.. is my unit defective somehow or should i try to delete my whole flash disk and copy my old one?
