Would the Z1 Fit in a 2006 Ford Fusion. It has the same factory radio as my 06 F-350. It said on Crutchfields website that it wouldnt fit?

Same problem here!! I bought the Avic-D2 from Mytaxfree.com on 11/15/06 and it still hasnt shipped. I call everyday and get told the same thing...oh it will ship tomorrow...then i called today and they said pioneer recalled a batch that was sent to mytaxfree.com so I have to wait until friday for shipment. I would not buy from them again! I should have of bought from sonnic electronix like I did the last time...haha trying to save a few bucks doesn't help sometimes

Hey, I am new to this site and had a few questions about the AVIC-Z1. I am looking at buying one within a day or so and wanted to know if there is a bypass mod for a new model? I will be installing it in my 2006 F-350 diesel. Has anyone installed one in a similar truck? Is the wiring hard to do? I have installed other pioneer head units in vehicles, so I am famliar with some wiring. Thanks for your help! Alex
