just got an email saying shipped
-
let us know how they are. i think the ones that came with the unit in my car went bad or something.
-
isnt the hardware of the new unit slightly different then the ones most of us are using....if that is true than wouldnt the software being installed not work right.
-
yup does not work for me still either i think google maps changed and removed this feature
-
well that was easy to order with the links
-
my thinking was that it might work on the pioneer unit. then all you would need is a front end
-
so the instructions do not match the site is anyone using this or did google change the setup of the site so it does not work anymore
-
http://www.microsoft.com/auto/wa5.mspx they are talking about this on the carputer forums and i was wondering if this is the same thing that the f90bt runs.
-
Does SCC1 work with stock GM xm antenna
brianteel replied to brianteel's topic in XM/Sirius/HD Radio and Traffic Receivers
does not work tried a few times with different GM antennas. just run the one that comes with the unit. -
i found it right before i i bought the pac stuff. i am so glad i did. also you dont need steering wheel controls to use this. either way it is cheaper than all the other stuff
-
Connect2 is great for giving no information but since the F90BT uses a resistor type input for the control that has to be what the output is of the controller. i might have to pull it and test it.
-
thank you very much I am changing out my radio for a carputer and this is one of the last things i need to figure out.
-
should have been more clear sorry. the input for the wired remote. like steering wheel adapter
-
I am trying to figure it out for a project i am working on. is it analogue or digital or something completely different.
-
http://caraudiosecurity.com that is why you need. i know they show the phone button working. there is no support from pioneer for it. you have to cut and solder connections on it unless you can find those connectors. not hard though
-
only thing you dont get is the phone button working but that is not really a big deal
-
http://www.connects2.com/c2search.aspx? ... &modID=780 this is what i used. i love it. one adapter plus dash kit is all you need
-
prolly not considering it is really really new
-
thank you. i am thinking about doing a car PC and moving my radio to another car of mine.
-
Does anyone know what hardware is actually used in the unit. I figure it has to be a basic computer because it runs windows CE. any details or links to information would be great.
-
The only way i could see getting something like this to work is getting a carputer. basicly screen in dash small computer in the car and then you run the wire to the OBD 2 connector under the dash. pricing wise it comes out to around 1500 because most cars you need a extrnal amp to run everything.
-
I would say build a auto PC. i am about to ditch mine for one with amp and new speakers. about the same cost and alot more cool things you can do with it
-
I used the Connect2 adapter from europe. I dont know about staying on for an hour but with the key it stays on for a while.
-
look up my post for my Tiguan it will be similar (not the same). dash kit came with a guide how to pull the dash plate out. over all it is just running wires.
