That is odd. The only thing I can think of is to try the install again. One time I installed and it was acting funny. Installed again and it was fine. Also give the screen a calibration. There could be something off in the calibration file.

If you are just upgrading from 3.4 to 3.5 you can just use the last option that I just added. That will just copy the data.zip and keep all of your existig settings. You can also run the original option you picked. To answer your question, yes the installer upgrades too. This is always the safest option but removes any settings you made and you start from scratch. But it also assures that there will be no conflicts.

Also reporting a bug, If click on MENU from the map screen, I will get a new screen with many icons(Address, POI, Favorites, .....) If i select Exit ... It should take me to the map again but it take me to the main desktop of device, Then I can't access the map anymore. I'm using F500 Ver: 2.006000 Regards;;

3.5 Changes on 4/07/11 Fixed Dynamic volume toggle not working. Added screen off executable to menu so that you can make the screen actually off. Added in Saved Search Criteria link in POI search screen Fixed blacking out of sort by when searching around GPS location. I dont think it matters since its based off the price and units. Its linked to the setting you chose in regional for the units. Feel free to look through the code in the FuelCalc.ui files.

You can select any screen at any time from the menu. The amount of information it displays depends on if you have a route or not.

Only question is there anyway to get the cruise screen as the default screen instead of the speed screen? Also have not done many mods, what are the reasons for doing TA and NT maps?

Yes, just extract the data.zip find the file menu.ui. In that file is a script named <script d_LBQP_setlist> In quotes you will see the menu text. There are two entries and a number. One for the menu itself and the other for the smaller menu for when you are changing the button by long pressing one of them. Change them both to whatever you want. The number is the position in the order of appearance and where it looks in the image file to pull the image it uses. Leave that alone and just change both instances of text.

Someone must have redone them to be in danish. To do it yourself extract the data.zip and edit the menu.ui file.

I am not sure what you mean by the new vs. originals? Can you explain more?

On the screen where "dynamic volume" setting is configured, I can click "On", but when I return to the screen, it is set to "off". Before, it stayed where I set it. What does the red icon with the speaker and the 'X' do in the nav screen? I assume it means "mute", but it didn't seem to do anything when I clicked it. I know this is not a map update, but it is unclear which of the many thread pertaining to maps I should pursue with this mod in place. I don't want to mess up the fine work in this mod as I update the maps. Jim

Nice find man! I will see about putting this into my mods. I like my custom "off" screen with the weather for MSDN users though. This would be great to have when you want to switch it off.

Usually this will work when you turn off smartzoom. At least in my mods it does.

That is odd... Two things to try. One is to go to the street again and see if the name of the street shows correctly on the map screen. If it does then get the original voice file and replace the one that is on the flash disk and see if it still does it. If it was just one time on one specific street you have to decide if its worth even going after.

Hmmm... you mean the blue and white bar along the bottom? Look at the scripts sc_init_zoomcontrol_browsemap and sc_init_zoomcontrol in scripts_800_480. I think that the browsemap script moves it off screen.

One is in regional but there is another in the Pioneer side. If you dont have the option to browse to a TTS file via USB you are not in the right one. I will try to look later today if you don't come across it.

That is odd... you are sure they are on the flash disk?

Just delete the save files and it should clear up. Make sure you go into regional and enable TMC.

Do you have access to a backup? I think there is something off with your system. As you can see from all the posts here my mods work fine. There is just something on your system that is conflicting with everything else. Setting it back to new and reinstalling might fix the issue. Really weird that you can run 2.3 since really this is just more stuff added to the same set of code. Actually that triggers a thought, if you dont have a backup you can start with putting the 2.3 mods back on and seeing if they run. Maybe we can go from there. Otherwise I have a backup of my system. Oops... that was for Yazon. In your case if you bring up the quick menu press one of the buttons to clear it. Either that or press the hard physical menu button on the avic.
