rename "dumpystig-DATA.zip" to "DATA.ZIP" before u copy it over to igo folder. like i said ealier, make a back up of original data.zip and just delete it from igo foler...(to make it easier) then put dumpystig's data.zip into it

did u make a back up of ur flash folder??? neways, WHERE did u copy the data.zip file into? u should have made a back up of the original data.zip from ur unit & replaced it w/ dumpystig' data.zip.

Installing stock Tahoma/Tahomabd will not be a prob, but with the font I have used the width of the letters is slightly bigger than Tahoma, so I had to alter a lot of 'x=' and 'w=' values for fonts/boxes etc. to suit. You will also have to do the same, it's time consuming but worth the effort to get it just how you want. Ok i'll try to do that over this weekend at the same time, i'll also try to upload default tahoma font to the unit. i guess i might have to decrease the font sizes on the map. oh btw i can hear the speed cam warning sound...after i chnaged my setting to "approaching" from "simple" neways, thanks again!!!

Nope...i want to get rid of ipod album art as well, but do not know how. I also notice that the icon buttons on the right hand side, sometimes seems to be duplicated or two buttons are showing up at the same spot. I decided to ignore it, cuz this mod is still awsome Hey Ceger Do u hear a warning sound when approaching the speed traps? I only get to see a red warning window, however i can't hear anything. Is this normal or do I need to adjust some setting in warning section?

i live in los angeles area, and when i'm driving by downtown los angeles i only get to see about 10 3d buildings or so... i guess 3d files r lil bit out-dated, because i can't find Staples Center & LA Convention center in the map. Garmin Nuvi 765t used to show Staple Center, LA Convention Center & Dodger Stadium in 3d.

This is a stupid question... How can I enable MSN Direct Menu in F700BT? I've seen Stephanie's F700 unit was able to access MSN Menu(could not connect to server though...), however she did not show us how to enable it. Is it the sys.txt' device type? I have "PIONEER746UC" written on my f700.

I got it working and with the over a meg speedcam.txt from BorisM. It was my own stupidity though as you CANNOT use the setting and place UI files from BorisM's zip (as he had stated a while back). You need to just pull those files from the main speedcam zip of the original topic poster and add those in to the data.zip. Then make sure you have speedcam_enabled = 1 in the [debug] section of the SYS.txt file and it all WORKS. Thanks all. Hey Ceger I was having the same problem as you did, and i think i got a fix for it. Did u use BorisM's speedcam.txt(pasted) into ur igo/content/speedcam folder? I just replaced the Boris's data w/ old data which was "Red_Light_Camera_us.txt", and "Speed_Trap.txt" from http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19523 and my 700 began to operate as it usually did. i guess i've made a mistake when i was making speedcam.txt data provided by BorisM. Anyways, really wanna say thank u to all of AVIC411 members, especially to Boris, Mavs & dumpystig

my pick navigon 8100t*=($429.00)>mio moov 500($149.00)>garmin nuvi 765t($450.00) ...however, im only using my f700...so far its the best (after some modifications...)

like i said earlier, i tried other portable GPS devices, and most of the portable GPS have 3.5" to 4.3" LCD screen; which was too tiny for me. i think mio moov 500 & navigon 8100t have 4.8" LCD screen. Pioneer F series have 5.8" LCD and I love it. Size matter for me, but its just a personal preference. Garmin has relatively small(?) LCD size which is 4.3", however garmin's LCD brightness is excellent. I was able to use garmin under direct sunlight. Navigon & Mio Moov displayed lots of information on screen, and i liked those a lot (such as, US speed limit, giving u spe

Wow this is a grreat stuff...i missed the US speed limit sign from my previous GPS, navigon 8100t. how can i use this w/ Mav's mod? he already has his own version of speed limit thing. i guess i have to spend some time this week to figure that out.
