My issue is with the yellow plug. I have attached the rca's to the line out of the yellow plug. Question, do you use the ground lead that is on the yellow plug, or did you create a new ground or did you use the ground on the main black plug. Did you experience any engine whine or alternater whine when you put your lights on>>??

do i connect to the speaker wires from the yellow plug or do i have to run it from the head unit thru the firewall and splice into the speaker wires coming out of the amp. . without the hifi option very straight forward. not sure what the yellow plug does.
