The testmode files have to match the region of the unit. UC, RE, AU, EU I have the various regions' testmodes uploaded here. ftp://avic:avic-411@buckeyecollision.us/ I got into test mode, I dont know if its normal but on the F500 not every time the splash screen pops up, most times it starts right into the map and thats why I was not able to get into test mode before.

I place my SD card with the "testmode" files on the F500 and nothing happens. It starts as if they were no files in it. BUT... when I place it in my F90bt it starts in test mode like normal. Is there something im missing?

Anyone? Any of the AVIC gurus have an answer to this problem?

I have a similar problem. I turn on the unit and its normal, but as soon as I dont press any buttons for a few secconds its like the touch screen function turns off because it does not respond at all. I end up having to press a real physical button like menu or map. Its quite annoying and i dont have an idea how to fix this issue Please help.

disculpen por mi ingles. claro, primer paso fue colocar el testmode.exe en la tarjeta SD luego introducirla en la unidad. luego prender el carro despues apretar el boton reset con el boton de eject y el boton de menu (los 3 botones al mismo tiempo), entonces va a entrar a windows ce sin que se apage la unidad.
